Everything easing off lows in the hope the US markets will recoup a bit of their losses, personally wouldn't be surprised to see further falls in the US later and a weak start for UK shares tomorrow. Time will tell and I'll be looking to re-enter if it looks 'right'.

I still have it in a bear flag formation. As you said earlier we'll have to see how that plays out.

Reading off mthly chart the all time low would appear to have occurred in Nov 2008 and was around 205 ish. But Yahoo finance has lowest daily closing price as 156 in Nov 19th 2008

retirment, at the moment the US stock indices (US30/500) are actually showing further weakness. It's entirely possible they will drop over their trading day. Looking at the US30 now, you could argue it's showing a bearish flag on the 2h chart. I'll probably buy RR if it drops to 74 or lower just speculatively. If not I'll wait for evdience it's going to bounce a bit which is the safer approach.

Just marking my chart up and using 'Royal Blue' to do so. Pretty hard fall so far. I think a if the price closes below 75.5 at 12:40 Uk time, the likely hood of seeing 74 or below increases a great deal. You never can tell where the price will settle, but I've alarmed the bejesus out of my chart and will be watching closely for evidence of a turn.

Well if the 340 area holds, it might represent a double bottom TA-wise. I've bought on that 'hope', so a bit speculative. Having said that, it does look as though it'll pay

What's this mornings hit about? Wider market sell=off yesterday on US inflation news? I can't see something specific to EZJ or even the airline sector? I bought on a knee jerk at 340, but would prefer to understand.

I figured it would have been touched on. Just thought I'd make sure. Would the implication of funds working together to short a company be illegal? There are plenty of funds that exceed the 0.5% limits when they short what they view as a weak company. Was that conspiracy theory type stuff or rational arguments?

Jules, that's great that went in your favour. Once the price passes your limit, it activates the trade, as you say the price must have banged down fast if you got 364. That's near todays low.

Someone, can't remember who posted with the view that Shadowfall were a bit of cowboy outfit. I've no idea about that, but I had a look today and DarkT hasn't had any notifiable shorts since February of this year. So if they are shorting, it's below 0.5% of the shares. Be interesting to know how far below! I'm still sticking with SP hitting 340 in the near future.

Thanks Costa, I preferred measured posts than rants. The way I understand it, most of their liabilities relate to their leases. Is that right or am I misinterpreting something?

What's your interest in MKS justnotworthit? You appeared to have joined LSE recently (Feb this year), have posted only on MKS and from the content of your posts would seem unlikely to have a long position. Why are you repeatedly posting the same view? Surely, once you've said it, you've said it and you'll either be right or you'll be wrong.

What worried me most about the Guardian article (apart from retaining so many people from Autonomy, some of whom may have been privy to the accounting scandal over there) was the comments from Shadowfall about churn rate and investment in technology. I couldn't invest comfortably in Darktrace with niggling doubts at the back of my mind. Out of hours news is a bugger for your nerves as was demonstrated yesterday. GL to all those who are invested/investing though. I shall look for safer pastures.

Oh, thanks Chilt. I've been watching here for a while, have traded some countercycle rallies effectively and will continue working on MKS. It's been good go me so far even on the continued fall. Truss's policies are being seen as a significant force against inflation and at first I thought that seemed to be the reason for the FTSE rally, but that rally extends to the US and I doubt very much that Liz has saved the world! What's the rally about?

Was going to say the same, difficult to see Jefferies view as independent. However, Computacentre reported this morning and their profits on revenues of 2.8billion were around 111 million. Maybe yesterdays profits on 400 million of revenues is in line with what this sector achieves?
