A man ahead of his time Chesh - love it!!
I think we should frame slide number 10.
Is the elephant in the room the 'apparent' lack of progress on the China Resource deal. I suspect this potential deal dragged a lot of new investors here and they may be getting twitchy at the lack of updates. Labskin is great and the updates in this area are pretty good but I want to hear about China Resources. Still very positive but like everyone else, always want more concise updates.
This platform is blessed with a filter button. Feel free to use it guys and lose that angst!!
I can see the irony Argylerich but I believe Gerard has seen an opportunity and taken it. I thought Microsaic was an acquisition target, (and may well still be). This came a bit out of left field but is does make sense. The working synergies with both companies will facilitate the delivery of the units. Small margins from a larger pot was the way forward but the world has changed and I am pleased that DVRG are able to adapt their plans to fit this 'new world'. Time will tell if Gerard has got this right. Very interesting times.
Assembly was always going to be in Ireland so this acquisition, appears, to make good business sense. China Resources were, I though, manufacturers of components to be shipped to Cork for assembly. This is where Gerard has confused me as this is where the supply chain needs tightening up. Maybe there was a caveat in the China Resources deal that necessitated DVRG obtaining this debt facility. Trying to join the dots here but still very confident.
Anybody else think China Resources might have wanted to see this before progressing any deal. Pure speculation on my part!!
On first reading an excellent RNS and set of results. As ever, the devil is in the detail, so a few further readings required in case I have missed anything. For now at least, very upbeat.
A Geordie stuck in Yorkshire Richard. Garforth is the next village to mine (I still refer to Garforth as a village even though it is a small town). Happy to do another drive-past to thank them, as and when!!
I passed the TRX building in Garforth yesterday and in an act of childish petulance shouted 'get your finger out'. Look what happened, a positive RNS. Can I suggest a bus tour whereby all shareholders shout the same. Ahh well, small wins in a difficult world. Keep smiling, stay safe and stand with Ukraine.
Just seen that my word for a childish laugh has been deleted so insert "a very childish laugh"
I had a very childish s****** at "Turd generation units". I love the Irish brogue and apologies to Finn for pointing it out. Fantastic interview with an infectious enthusiasm from Finn.
Cheers Chesh. Knew we had one Proctor and Gamble on board but couldn't remember who.
Is it Tula that is now part of Proctor and Gamble?
Nice to see this board gravitating back to an informative and civil forum. Long may it continue.
Thanks for the link trillsg - I had the same problem. Much better now!
The major expense for the world is not the cost of the monitoring equipment, but the infrastructure and enforcement required to treat what the monitoring identifies. Blissful ignorance is no longer an option. Upgraded monitoring is going to identify a lot of 'substances' in waste water, 'substances' that may or may not have been known about, or perceived to not be a problem. Now we know about them, we know their concentration, we are beginning to understand the damage they do, we now have to develop treatment or prevention strategies. I think Governments are scared of DVRG technology because of the problems they will highlight.
Notified on the 9th Feb but only RNS'd today.
