Also if Ruto wanted to give his transition plans more gravitas he would surely have announced that Kenya was calling time on its ambition to be an oil producer. As stated below billions would go to waste, so where’s the money going to come from to fund ambitious green targets.
I am still keeping the faith Anton. Very optimistic for the future. In terms of the business turnaround I believe Rahul is doing a great job in difficult circumstances. That said I honestly believe he doesn’t give a jot about small fry shareholders like me. Yesterday’s news vacuum was symptomatic of his attitude. Hopefully your right - blue day today.
Fair point Jeffrey. I should also have added “or basically Rahul couldn’t be ars-d”. Probably the company sec just took the initiative after being shamed into releasing SOMETHING !
I noticed that last nights belated RNS was issued by TLW’s company secretary. I assume from this that Rahul is currently otherwise engaged. Highly likely he was en route to Africa for next week’s conference/ working on his presentation. That said I naively live in hope that he was incommunicado as he was signing off the Kenya oil or Ghana gas agreements. I did say “naively” based on his record so far.
Putting aside the time wasted when the 100% focus should have been on securing Kenya oil and Ghana gas deals I am happy. In relation to the merger Rahul put me in mind of a heavily indebted twenty something with fabulous prospects shacking up with the 80 year rich widow living next door.
Did a little bit of trading yesterday bought some Cine shares. They went down in the afternoon and I decided to hold overnight to see if I could recover my losses. Luckily the SP recovered and I made a profit. Hats off to all the traders you must have -alls of steel. Not worth the stress to my fragile constitution.
Oz - good luck to you. I lost a few bob on CINE back in 2020. To be honest I had a lucky escape. Hopefully your new investments will come through. Whatever they are ?. TLW has been kind to me over the last 2 years. Very frustrating share at times. with patience good times ahead.

It’s almost as if the “dark forces” are trying to wear down us humble P.I’s. Well I got news for them until Kenya, the merger and the gas off take is settled this boy ain’t a movin.,
Come on Rahul we need some positive news to get this share moving. I don’t have much hair left these days but the remainder of my former crowning glory is on notice argggggg
Agree Anton unfortunately for CNE if this merger doesn’t go through “the genie is out the bottle” the recently joined white night investment funds will short the life out of this stock. With dwindling resources and a diminishing cash pile they are prime targets. The vultures are circling.
