Had a new daylight image that I wrote a brief spiel about yesterday evening that never managed to appear as a post despite lots of clicking.

I gave up.

So today I have the delight of overlaying a radar on top of yesterday's update. Eight drills in primarily the north east of HAV. They are still active with one drill on the southern dune.

Lots of new bits of the decline works. Looks like they are doing lots of road improvements too between various bits of site.

Then the radar shows no action at either of the Goliath holes, just activity at the camp.

Nothing happening at Rio's spot north of Scallywag - can they really not get hold of a rig?

...a lot of the puddles are still to dry out so maybe ground conditions are still too challenging for exploration.

Usual caveat - all of this peered at on a very small screen.

Little steps. After many failed efforts we have announced we are better at making gritty dust at the right dustiness?

We still have not proved if it is useful dust for the target audience.

It's the oddest thing about Rio. The satellite image from last month on the 15th was cloudy, 10th April they were not on site, 20th they were with pretty much all the pad locations cleared. There doesn't seem to have been any change in the prep work from 25th April to now; and yet drilling hasn't started.

Is it me? Having been spoiled by HAV and NC's approach of breakneck speed I expect Rio to be as quick?

The uncorrected Sentinel daylight image is available, sadly the crispier version is still being number crunched.

Activity is limited on the exploration front to hee-haw with one drill spot in the north east changing. If it wasn't for the puddles drying out I'd wonder if I was really looking at a new image.

Up at Goliath the two drill spots look unchanged. The one in the south is maybe larger.

Off to see if the neighbours are up to anything, but an uncorrected image on a small screen makes it tricky to spot anything.

I think the lack of anyone else going on the board with their own calculations proves the quality of what you do Bamps - and how much it is appreciated. We all like the way you show your reasoning and workings, and whilst not marking your homework publicly, judging by the number of recommends you get, it is not just me who tweaks your specific gravity or average g per ton figures in our heads when musing on what the next MRE update will show.

A new daylight radar is due today although I'm not sure I'll get a chance to sit at a full sized screen to see what the neighbours are up to. Can just about suss HAV activity on a smartphone screen.

Probably just under the half decade of SRES pain, so far.....

Suckered in by non-gold Nevada projects and sighed audibly when I realised that management were jumping on the über trendy WA bandwagon.

This, along with every other shareholding except one, has paled into insignificance and been neglected by me, courtesy of a certain CB and GH having courage in their convictions a few years ago, and my extremely lucky and flukey one-off good fortune of being invested early.

On a practical note the next radar is 18th May which may be the only way to be sure of drilling activity. There won't be any sign of a telltale camp on site with all the luxuries of a mining town so nearby. Daylight images look like we are late to the party and someone has already stolen the punchbowl.

Rummaged around Sentinel.

The most recent radar is from the 6th where the entire outback appears to be glittering all sorts of pretty colours. Virtually impossible to pick out one spot and say if it is a rig or not even if they had started by then.

The bit I think is the Baker's Project has all sorts of historic mine workings on it. The most up to date daylight image is from the 8th. I looked at an October 2019 image to compare and the only visible change was a lighter rectangular area that should be in the middle of this image:

Hope they've booked the drillers with a rig and are aiming for Apollo first.....during 2021!

From memory there were so many sand dunes they feared some of their north eastern targets were going to be unreachable.

@PG, L1A images just make my poor eyesight seem even worse with a slight fuzziness layered over the image - before the crispy atmospheric corrections are applied on the 2s.

I do wonder what Rio are up to. Lots of prep but no drilling yet - did they not manage to get to the front of the queue when booking rigs? Or are they busy elsewhere at other joint ventures?

Sentinel is playing up with yesterday's daylight image not loading fully for me....

Blame the small screen gadget again.

Is there anything that looks like activiry on the eastern side of Goliath? Apologies i can't recall who spotted the prep for what looked like a drill pad about a month ago, to give them credit.

Also Rio's rummaging north of Scallywag - are they still rearranging the scenery? The recent radar certainly had no chunky machinery on their patch.

Maybe the gadget will behave itself after I give it its daily drop.

Radar shows Goliath drill is still to the north west of the camp. All the prep work for other pads are easy to see but no drilling on any of them.

Can't find Rio.... But they seemed to be earthmoving rather than drilling at the previous radar.

HAV seems to have nine drills, nothing north of the dune line. They are back west of the compound and are still south of the sand dune. .....And I can't see any activity next door at Apollo or anywhere else.

Usual caveat - using a small screen, sometimes half the dots are just dust on my gadget.

In amongst nice pictures of box cuts to enjoy we got a cloudy daylight satellite yesterday - apologies if this is old news, but I wasn't going to go back through page after page of dross mixed with drivel that is becoming more and more common on this board to see if it had been mentioned.

A radar image is due in a day or two so ground activity with drill rigs on neighbouring tenements will be hard to hide. Rio seemed to be doing lots of ground prep but without any drilling. And our own Goliath et al should show more action.

Luckily I fell asleep before the NC announcement was released so wasn't gutted at losing beauty sleep for a grand total of four new results. Even with lab delays and poor weather I'm still thinking circa 25 holes would've been more aligned with precious reporting rates.

It does explain the oddness of GGP's lovely glossy update yesterday as Holly and others flagged up - it isn't particularly out of date - with only four new holes today.

I can't help thinking NC drill holes, some around the far flung outer regions, where they never report results. Those two north of the dune just completed should be seen in a report end of July if lab delays continue at 3 months. If they don't show up and the neighbour's drill Apollo so it resembles a Swiss cheese I think we may have found one of our targets within the JV area but outside of HAV.

Pure speculation of course...

The photos from site used in the backgrounds look very nice..... Fleshy details for the satellite imagery bones....

Although I favour the page with the cross section showing areas within the MRE and all the known stuff they have yet to fully drill. Roll on tonight!

Seems like Rio are just preparing the ground but don't yet have a rig on site cos there's no radar signal. Haven't yet found Dekka yet - Sentinel or my gadget or both are on a go slow.

The crisper daylight image of the 25th is now available. I'm a bit intrigued that they did two holes north of the HAV dune but as yet no more, and I can't see any preparations for any more nearby.

Another curiosity is there appears to be no activity on the southern dunes. There was a similar pause about five or six weeks ago before more drilling activity restarted.

The radar is very difficult to work with when out and about on a small gadget but I think most HAV activity is in and around the site compound.... And I'm not convinced I can count to nine drills either. Would they have sent one to do a stint at Juri?

Looking forward to the Newcrest update. A MRE update would be nice as it nails more known knowns to the table and will (theoretically) put a definite line under GGPs value with variations and fluctuations correlated to the movements of the price of gold, and the whims (fear & greed) of investors.

Well spotted AM90. A very handy radar image will be captured tomorrow, and made available on Sentinel on Tuesday....

Rio's stuff to the south always looked like an intriguing continuation of Scallywag. I was always amused by drill programmes that drill targets within boundaries but never on them - wouldn't want to give the game away and let the neighbour's know what they have for free .

Unless you are Artemis drilling Apollo....
