NC did an "as hoc" Red Chris update a week or two ago, not waiting for a timetabled quarterly announcement. So I'd like to think they would do the same for HAV's plethora of zones - as soon as they have drilled the life out of one zone, they should know enough to update the MRE. Specially if each zone is adding significantly huge numbers to our current 4.2M equivalent MRE number.

Weather.

There's a cyclone out there....

GGP's bit of outback may get a bit damp on Wednesday. Clouds during the days leading up to the weather coming in. Tomorrow's satellite should be OK, Thursday's may be touch and go trying to dodge the white fluffy bits. But we will have a nice radar image to admire next week too - all eyes on the north-east and the next possible hole north of the dune line.

The cyclone is probably going to delay drilling campaigns on neighbouring tenements for another week. Any rain that does fall is going to wreak havoc with ground conditions for heavy machinery. You wouldn't bother heading out into that.....

Strudel theory:
The cleared area is for the fully air-conditioned marquee which will be effected when the GGP PIs get an invite to watch the first load of ore drive away to Telfer.

Artemis are more than 2km further north than PG's new sump.

I went back to Sentinel, the 31st's image. You can see a cleared spot and curiously - if you use the track just to the west that runs south-west to the north-east as a centre line, there seems to be a symmetrical clearance on the other side of the track.

This is curious ...... I'd hoped NC may have been drilling the fault line heading north to Apollo past a feature that I have called the black arrowhead that they drilled near to in Nov 19. But if they are doing a second drill north of the dune then they must be looking at the extent of the northern breccia? Or trying to find its edge.

Be interesting to see their next move on that northern side. May develop nicely before Apollo gets drilled by our neighbours.

I'm focusing my thoughts, not on how it got in to the earth's crust, but how NC get it out....

EOS may be leading you astray. Sentinel has a new image today and there is nothing resembling a drill at the spot. If you play with the filter you get a lighter blurry blotch about 50m long. There's been a lot of recent rain so I am trying to see if it is something to do with that by looking at the same spot in 2020.

It's geology. Once he writes one analysis he has to wait 500 million years to have something new to write about.

Just shy of 110,000m from just under 100 holes since Newcrest got involved - plus historic drilling. Nice MRE as it illustrates what is worth extracting from underground..... Compare and contrast with HAV grades. I appreciate depths are different cos of our 400m of cover.

I'm wondering if I'm beginning to have Red Chris jealousy - bet you Canada doesn't have 3+ month delays on independent lab core results.

Haven't tried looking for activity on other tenements on the most recent satellite cos it is still a bit early with the temperatures in mid 30s and the rain has been falling - Lake Havieron looks well topped up still - which will make ground conditions verging on impossible for moving heavy vehicles.

Did notice the explosives store (go north towards Apollo) looks like it has been stocked up, ready for the start of blasting out the decline and for the first time in ages there is no drilling activity to the south across the dune.

It is hard to tell where they are drilling as everything looks very blotchy after rain. The next radar, still a long way away, will pin them down more definitively.

Thanks for confirming our northern Paterson neighbours are Antipa - I wasn't 100% sure the other day.

I'm beginning to think there will be no Antipa drill results before our Juri drilling will start. Such a shame - it would've been nice to see what came of their eight holes just across our shared tenement border.

I wonder if the lab delays are actually crreping up to more than three months now? We are still waiting for the last four Scallywag holes which is frustrating but not overly suspicious as we haven't seen a flood of RNSs with other companies' drill results either.

How's about all the LTHs here sell a small GGP holding and collectively set up a lab in Perth?

I was hoping for results from our neighbours (Antipa? Can't recall - they did a string of eight holes) before we head to our Paterson tenement.

There's a weird radar....half a dozen bright dots on the left hand side of the box cut and others on the spoil heap and other works to the south. Start conspiracies that the box cut wasn't wide enough to cope with all those millions of ounces they know they have to extract.....

As for HAV drilling it seems there are five definite locations with rigs and three fainter green signals. That would be eight drills. Two additional faint blue signals are probably places they have been drilling and have now moved on. We could really do with a clear daylight satellite image loaded up soon to see if they have moved to different spots. Two of the stronger signals are north west of the site compound.

Make of it what you wish......

I had a look at the coverage of the Oz floods and wondered if it was impacting our bit of the Outback. It has been remarkably cool compared to norms over the last few days and Telfer had 50mm of rain - so it may well be there is no change of drill locations if ground conditions are so bad they can't move rigs around.

I think a radar image acquired today becomes available tomorrow if the website is behaving itself.

.....about time, we're due the 21st March image in a couple of days. That may be too early to see mobilisation activities at neighbouring tenements but the first radar image in early April may prove who managed to book a drilling rig and crew in good time.

I've been checking out the Sentinel 1 for the last few days and have seen all sorts of images claiming to be the most recent radar image appear in searches. None of the thumbnails actually load when clicked and none have the correct date.

Let's hope they get the system unscrambled before the madness of the winter drilling season starts in April, it makes life much easier to have a radar image - wish they were more frequent than one every twelve days.

The other issue with this strategy is I have found it utterly impossible to hit the sell button, and slowly accumulate GGP shares in all sorts of dribs, drabs and chunks across trading accounts, ISAs and SIPPs.

For those interested the radar image on Sentinel continues to be elusive. They had a data gathering error, claim to have fixed it but I think otherwise.
