I see iHeartMedia up another 11% right now on the back of yesterday’s Netflix news. Market is liking this sector so it will be interesting when there is a leak with what’s going on with our discussions. Management will be pretty busy at the moment and perhaps an affiliation at this stage wouldn’t necessarily help with discussions. But they can’t afford to take their eye off the ball.

Mcsquares, agree Apple certainly have the firepower and would be a drop in the ocean for them. Combined with their recent new interest in F1. However, ‘interested parties’ is a great position to be in and will create more appropriate value. There’s no keeping a lid on this now especially as we know how restricted liquidity is.

All manipulation of late imo and this purchase shows resounding confidence. Things are brewing in the background. Patience is usually rewarded so I’m just sitting and waiting. A close at these levels cements a retest of recent highs, I reckon. Fireworks are timely.

Discussions are going to be complex I imagine, with several parties involved for either the full company or sell off of individual components. Just ticking higher now.

Fourprinces, appreciate your comments and in total agreement. Depends on the appetite of the interested parties but I imagine there will be keen interest which can propel the price higher. Sir and wait for now.

Thinking of some of the positives:

Vietnam tariffs are currently a relatively low 19% versus other jurisdictions especially China so growth accelerating.

New staff added to Vietnam site.

Acquisitions including those of interest to one party, have brought manufacturing in house - better control over higher margin frames.

US integration brings costs savings

Plans to integrate and greater synergies of the European businesses.

I’m curious to see how sales are faring and if we’re privy to next upgrades and improvements, this is surely going to fuel the bid.

Also to note either yesterday or day before the shares were marked some 10% or more lower so I wonder whether this was marked down specifically to fill a larger purchase. Let’s see what tomorrow holds.

I would agree to a higher premium in this instance, particularly as there are two interested parties, albeit different in substance. If I read it correctly, one potentially for the entire company and the other for part. Should put a rocket under this.

Agree this could go quite a lot higher. Fun days and weeks ahead.

I’m more keen to know about the next acquisition and which market- mainland Europe or Asia.

So under the rules concerning the strategic review, when does something have to be announced? By close tomorrow or before Monday open?

I’m staying put on this rollercoaster, all overdone and stop losses triggering everywhere. Below where we were two weeks ago yet fundamentals are better.
