With Thanksgiving I’m not expecting anything this week but then as we hit December it will need to ramp up before markets quieten.

Significant move by Janus Henderson and added to that the buy back extension the tide is turning and a clear break here we start heading towards 300p, assuming a predator doesn’t jump in before too long.

Doubled up here today as a clear break above £10 could see us race ahead.

Nice step up today and soon looking to get back to 140p. How long before another acquisition and news to propel this to new highs. Not long imo.

Interesting further news today that whilst Safio’s 84p cash offer was rejected it’s still in the process. Share price edging higher as we wait for the remaining two to show their hands.

Plus two parties yet to show their hand. Taking a while but it’s positive and feels like we’ll get there in the coming weeks.

That’s the offer so far and with another month extension north of 90p imo

Lacklustre trading update but is it just noise today…

POSTI - are you aware of the letter issued by First Seagull to the Board (early on in the process) plus it’s out there for all to see regarding Safilo’s part-company interest. This is not THG. That doesn’t mean a bid is guaranteed but it has legs imo.

Nice rise today - no apparent news.

There are 3 declared interested parties for either the full company or separate parts. It’s complex so it’s no surprise it’s going to the wire - of course we may have an announcement at any time tomorrow but I wouldn’t be surprised whether 7am, intraday or after the close (before 5pm).

Agreed, goose. I expect the price to start racing before we know, just like before. There must be quite a bit of complexity with 3 suitors and a combination of whole or part company. Personally I’d rather have 110p (not unrealistic imo with a bit of competition), rather than partial sales. I want it done to move on!

Deadline is a week tomorrow if I’m not mistaken. Time for this to pop!

Let’s hope we see the first of the bidders showing their hand as soon as tomorrow. It would be a good way to go into the weekend with the price edging towards £1.
