Goose, you just have longer to wait. Hard to know where it will end either with it going through at 84p or blocked as you say - if I’m not mistaken I recall reading in the announcement that they only had about 35% of shareholders on board but I may have that wrong. Good luck.

I’ve also been increasing my holding here quite substantially (for a private investor) not so far short of a 6-figure sum. Agree after IPO there’s some settling down and then we can get broker comments and targets. I don’t think it will be too long before they continue on the acquisition front. There’s a lot of U.K. consolidation to be done and who better to do it.

We sold entire 2.5% stake at 85p in #INSPECS today, just before #Safilo disclosed 1.7% stake from yesterday!! Likely now 4.2% as Shore Cap brokered our block sale! We're completely out with a nice 73% gain over 18 months, but getting out the popcorn for this showdown!

Out too to put the money to better use. Could well be a counter bid but selected WVIA instead. Good luck all

Likewise was going to do the same but may hang around a few weeks to see if there’s any progression. I need to check yesterday’s statement but I think it said they have 35% of shareholders in agreement, so it’s not a done deal imo.

Excellent summary golfnut, totally agree. I was also having a read of the prospectus yesterday. I’m intending to increase my stake further but awaiting use of some takeover funds in my ISA. This could be a good multi bagger with the growth and expansion opportunities, so important to have it tax free. Meantime holding in my SIPP.

Really believe there will be some exciting times ahead here, particularly as you comment on the fragmented U.K. market.

Red day today and all looking like a reduction of holdings by funds and banking profits, possibly. All over done imo and staying put for march higher.

Scanning the document it seems the other parties were not offering better terms. This is going for a steal so despite the disappointing outcome I’ll be glad to be out and once I’ve read the detail may ditch it right away especially as the discount to bid isn’t too great.

All looks overdone to me and irrational. Agree some larger investors could be trimming their holdings. Seems a steal at these prices so I guess we have to continue to sit and wait.

Yes, very interesting read. I expect the firepower of net cash to additional acquisitions to be quite a bit higher. How long before another Click is added materially enhancing EBITDA.

Nice jump already this morning and looking at the chart we’re going quickly to 1500p, I reckon and who knows about further encouraging news flow.

Jumping in here today with double my usual tranche. Fun times ahead and such early days. Looking to acquire more in my ISA once some takeover funds are available.
