Do people actually think these boards influence the share price? It spiked this morning out of nowhere, certainly not from a pump on here. I actually find the best thing to do when investing is ignore these boards, it's just an interesting read every now and again for other peoples opinion.
A JV is a dilution but depending on what they can bring to the table I'd expect them to nudge everything along and enhance the rate of return. I'd much prefer a dilution by bringing in expertise than a placing and trying to do everything ourselves. Look what GGP did when they brought in a partner.
Often seem to spread themselves too thinly, looking at lots of different possibilities without actually doing anything productive. Sometimes the odd one not coming off is not a bad thing and they can focus their minds on getting some revenue in!
MM's by their name need to make a market. It's why you can never look at the short term performance of a share on the back of positive news. Positive news will drive the share price higher over time but short term you can never second guess what MM's need to or will do to gather shares to sell.

You're telling me you've invested in a company and you didn't know where their main resource was located? It's been in at least 2 RNS announcements over the past couple of months that helicopter access was required.
I get the point but if you want to invest in well run companies that have all their ducks in a row you aren’t going to land 10 baggers, that’s what the FTSE is for. Everyone has their reasons why they’re here.
