The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
There are at least 2 lab based tests being evaluated and looking promising. We know we’re one of them.
Liked the Evening standard, here we go
It’s certainly not for me, been spiked more than enough to be playing that game.
Just one heck of a rise, thought LSE must have been wrong until I checked google.
As this is way off topic but as we’re nearly at the end of the day...
Has anyone seen a bigger rise that Motif Bio in one day?? It’s over 800% on google! What the fudge
You can tell there’s interest here. Normally shares go down at the end of the day as the traders leave.
This goes up as people come back in because they’re terrified of missing a 7am RNS.
Don’t have talk sh*t at times. Read a few articles today saying the Roche test will be rolled out potentially by the end of the week.
Our test has been with PHE for 2 weeks for validation. Roche are ‘at least’ 2 weeks behind us.
The number is far too small to effect the share price.
Selling and then seeing that number of the RNS change to 2... I think I would be physically sick.
selling now. Once the NHS validation lands people will be kicking themselves. Hard.
Not trying to be patronising here at all, not sure what your knowledge of investing is but be careful asking that question on other boards.
Thankfully it’s not the case here but you’ll get a lot of people telling you instantly to invest for their own interests.
With doubts about where this is going listen to the interview on BBI solutions twitter, last tweet, not the pinned one.
RTC potentially ready for mass production by June. To allow for the required sign offs they must have something very advanced for a CEO of a company that big to speak with such confidence.
Was thinking of buying in here this morning but the spread is ridiculous.
I know what you guys will say, just buy in, in won’t matter in the end... but it’s very off putting.
Is it normally this big?
What does it matter what Roche are doing, I don’t know if people have noticed but NCYT aren’t the only Antigen around.
How are people genuinely surprised other companies are coming up with tests as well.
Did they expect us to be the only one in the world?
We’ve got the CE mark, are in production, backed by the Government and just awaiting NHS validation.
Chill the f*** out.
Tests are no good to the general population, they require a professional to use them and a lab for the results.
The purpose of antibody tests is to know what percentage of the population has had the virus, how long would it take to test 65m people that way?!
Beside, I for one am not going near a hospital at the minute and my GP is telephone appointments only.
They’ll lead a crusade in a market/race we were never even in.
It’s like saying Bolt didn’t win the 5000m at the last Olympics...
Fair play, Abbott’s test appears to be solid, however, the lab testing requirement is absolutely no use whatsoever for the masses.
The Mologic test is still a professional use test. It’s not a buy it off amazon and do it yourself at home job.
That’s what the consortium was set up to deliver and that’s the target here.
My understanding is where the manufacturer here, we’re not in competition with Mologic. They design, we make.
I’m new here and going to spend the weekend reading up. I am, however, surprised at the number of people on this board who don’t appear to know much about the company they’ve bought shares in.
