Tests are no good to the general population, they require a professional to use them and a lab for the results.

The purpose of antibody tests is to know what percentage of the population has had the virus, how long would it take to test 65m people that way?!

Beside, I for one am not going near a hospital at the minute and my GP is telephone appointments only.

Fair play, Abbott’s test appears to be solid, however, the lab testing requirement is absolutely no use whatsoever for the masses.

The Mologic test is still a professional use test. It’s not a buy it off amazon and do it yourself at home job.

That’s what the consortium was set up to deliver and that’s the target here.

My understanding is where the manufacturer here, we’re not in competition with Mologic. They design, we make.

I’m new here and going to spend the weekend reading up. I am, however, surprised at the number of people on this board who don’t appear to know much about the company they’ve bought shares in.

Slightly off topic but when a vaccine does become available surely it will need to be targeted to the most vulnerable people without antibodies initially. Then the general population without antibodies.

How do you know who doesn’t have antibodies... discount the people you know do...

Interesting Gazza... not my strong point but sounds as though you have to have a finished product to apply the CE mark too. Not sure you could apply the CE and then change it?

Also wonder if they haven’t mentioned antibody testing because there technically isn’t one available yet. Once the design freeze lands there’s something ready for production and may get a bit more recognition.

The only way you can trace this thing is with antibody testing, there is literately no other way to know where it’s been.

Ask someone who bought GGP a few years ago and is now sitting on 100x their money why we invest in stocks like this. Yes there’s luck involved but the excitement is there of what could be.

I’ve got money in ftse100 companies but where’s the fun in that, it’s a secure return on capital but it’s not enjoyable.

If you only want to talk about secure companies why are you even on an AIM board?

Not sure what platform your using but I use HSBC and it always shows a false value of my shares.

It shows the value of the share price, if you go to sell them 9 times out of 10 you’ll get a bit less than that.
