I remember buying into KAZ at around the £1.49 mark. Most brokers had their targets set at around £1.60-£1.80. Absolutely sailed through them up to almost £11.

Yes, brokers guide the market to a certain extent but at the end of the day it is just a guide and the market will do what it wants anyway. Didn't stop it sliding to 6.3p when they were set at 32p.

I wouldn't get too hung up on it.

Morning all, hopefully an upward day but to be honest any rise is pointless for me until the RTO. If you sell on a rise prior to the RTO announcement you'll just be selling yourself short anyway.

I have a decent holding in here and want to share price to go up as much as the next person, however, the company assets are £514k. The interim results are until the end of June when the company was still TLA and summarise a business they don't own anymore.
I suspect the share price has risen on the news that DM is back as a non-exec Director.
As I say, I want the share price up but not on news that isn't true or it will just slide straight back down again.

Interesting news! Dwight back in as the non exec and a lot more cash in the bank than expected. Looking at those buys yesterday afternoon now somebody knew something!

My prediction is the RTO lands when the share price is still above 1p. Spikes pre suspension and Eezy tries to tell us he’s held all along. Not only that but he managed to get in the day before the RTO.

For this to get back to what I would call a true price the shorters need to disappear.

I’m invested long term to sell once they have gone. This may rise but it won’t fly up while they are still around.

For me if you’re worrying about the share price on a day to day basis you’re being too short sighted for the stock market. While they are here the price is not the issue.

It will come back, just people getting bored waiting for news. The stock market is a dangerous place if you play for short term gains.

BOU will suspend early in October, it hasn't got long to go but then it does have the 6 months while suspended of course.

Using Bidstack as an example of an RTO, formally Kin Group. The share was suspended after the 6 months and is now worth over 10x.

Kin was in a far worse position than Hawkwing. You're valuing this share on the principle of it going bust. If that's your opinion 0.3 is a terrible buy for you because you're only going to get your money back.

A lot of them look like algo's, I'd say 75% of the sells are algo's and 25% of the buys... very approximately.

So they have reduced their target share price but in effect it makes very little difference as it is still many multiples of where we are today.

It's all an estimate anyway, I can remember the brokers having targets on KAZ when I held them of around £2.25. Fast forward a couple of month and they were over £10.

So we've got a spread of 31%, one small sell for 150 quid and we're down 6%. I think it's quite easy to see this does not reflect reality and there are some games going on.

Been a while since we've had a TR1, they were coming in every 3 or 4 days, now its been a week so starting to wonder if the next one will be Gatemore are fully out.

If I was after certainty I'd be invested in the FTSE

People get impatient and want quick returns on their money which is very short sighted.

Remember... the stock market is the transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient.

Personally I think it depends how long you're willing to tie your money up for. I was in these a while ago and I've just re-invested but it's not a short term option for me. I don't see the point in trying to make a quick 10% because this is not an 8p share. You could easily be looking at 300-400%.

But it could be a bumpy ride to get there.

That said I'm expecting positive news on Monday which should see us go up from here.
