The HSE response to the panning application has just gone up on the council website at this link https://pa.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=PY18AUTELF400 In short the HSE are not objecting on safety grounds to the application.

Boffin - The business case for the DMG was based on a 25 tpd unit. The PROTOS site will be using a 35 tpd so it may be possible to reduce the £80 a tonne gate fee and still remain profitable. In any event the £80 a tonne gate fee is a discount to the landfill charges.

LedZep - I came across this http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2015/595/article/15/made that seems to say that the consultation period is about three weeks starting with the date of the notice. Assuming that the notice went up the same timeit was put on the website that would be from Friday. This means it would miss the 8 October meeting.

Piltick - Inrespect of your 19.05 fron Friday which I missed earlier I am not surprised by this. I remember reading that tyres had to be shreded so it stands to reasonthat other feedstock would need to as well.

LedZep - I would doubt that it could make the 8 October meeting as that does not seem enough time to allow for comments on the application and for those comments to be considered. The November meeting would be more likely.

Also it would seem from the section that follows that the construction work would take up to 9 months which means that the commercialisation of the DMG process is now looking to be a year behind plan. See the Align Research note from November last year. I suspect that DR might have a Plan B to recover some of this lost time.

Sharesport - What was submitted in July was an application for a Non Material Amendment to an existing application to allow for HGV movements. This would seem to indicate a moderation of the cash run rate

Boffin - I agree it augurs well for the year end results. It seems that the paid trial work is being booked into the H2 period. The cost of doing this work seem low.

superbarnet - Thanks for your 16.43 post. I was expecting them to be announced either Friday or Monday. May I ask the source of your information as you seem very sure of the date.

Judging by this report https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-49818156 any deal that PHE may have had with wrightbus is unlikely to be going any further.

sharesport - Good spot with the results due the timing is interesting.

Having thought about it I wonder if the two 4m share trades was by somebody who knows something about the H1 results which are due by Monday of next week. Trades of that size are going in my opinion to be by somebody who is looking to build a stake in the company or by someone who thinks there s going to be a jump in the share price and wants to make their dinner money for next week.

Next week should see the publication of H12019 results with luck it might cause a boost to the share price.

Piltick - I note that last week Monday I received a Tweet from W2T who said that Peel Environmental are handling the planning application and that the application will be submitted in the coming days. Make what you like of that.

I was trying to work out whether it would be financially viable for PHE to use the Gas for energy by plugging it into the Gas Grid. As far as I can tell based on a price per therm of 2.79p it would seem that PHE could make a decent return if it was going to operate the facility as opposed to license it for others to run. The money received from gate fees should cover a good portion of the operating expenditure. Can anybody who has a spare moment check my calculations.

Apart from a technical legal issue around the amount of Hydrogen that can be added to the gas grid is there any other reason why instead of using the syngas to create electricity it cannot be used directly for energy?
