Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I was a regular poster here back in the day..... regularly (on a daily basis) defending the company and performance (more out of blind hope and belief in the story and progress, or lack of). The facts and issues are more obvious when you look back in the cold light of day. I do think the BOD should have been criminally persued and investigated. Its not just the BOD - at the time there were armies of false accounts on here spreading discontent and false hope (it was difficult to understand what was true and what wasnt) - equally plenty of examples where posters on here had official news before the markets (which again was illegal) - think: when the drill bit was dropped and that was on here a day before the official news.
I have so many examples of AIM stocks which have wiped out their faithful followers: GKP etc etc etc you can almost write the script - I have one in the bottom drawer which started as a Copper Mining Co and has reincoprated several times (its now a life science company)
I was actually listening to a BBC podcast yesterday (Crypto Queen) which is worth a listen to - it talks about the OneCoin scandal which was/is a €4bn fraud - reminded me of Xcite and what happened here - so thought I would poke my head back in.
What happened to the legal group trying to persue an outcome - anything ever happen?
Wishing everyone health and hapiness...
Anyone seen the film money monster?
Wow....
Good questions legend.... Anyway - are there any bvi liquidation milestones we need to be aware off?
RKH is a waiting game and has the finances to sit it out - xel should have been doing deals around the same time - anyway! Back to xel... how long do we hear before the formal processes start or have the OGA been in touch and said: due to public interest we will not be supporting any transition of licences?
Toxic - some people probably would like this BB shut down as it help erase some of the un-truths and mis information that was flying around (both pro xcite and negative views) - personally would like to see the evidence to remain for all to see - so that if there were any underhand forces at play then it can be investigated properly.
Guess it's not just a warning shot over our bows....
Makes the Canadian de-list all the more suspicious... were there some regulatory ties there which would have blocked the BHs? Also the in authorised accidental changes to the articles of association....
Not to sound too flippant shumer.... but likely it's all gone... xcite will probably be refloated by the BHs under the name "even more exiting energy'" or meraculously statoil will buy it off the BHs and submit a fully integrated FDP the following day (FYI takes months/years to prepare a FDP).... in short we are in the process of being robbed.
Surprised they took so long to come out the woodwork.....suspect they will wait until liquidation is finalised and then do a deal...
Believe me BHs would not have entered into the agreement if there was any wiggle room in the security aspect of the asset. In reality they probably felt they were doing us a favour in offering us 1.5%. Our main leverage now I think remains OGA and MPs - if you are motivated to do so then suggest mailing OGA contacts again. They need to revoke the licence....
Thanks cat.... it's almost like all those years ago (when the company was incorporated) they structured it in a way which would allow them to hand over the asset to who ever they wanted to...
The company is worthless without the licence, to retain the licence the company needs to remain as a going concern, thus surely liquidating the company they will loose the licence and everyone looses. As such... makes sense for BHs to call off the lawyers, come back to the table and find a deal that works for most... i hope there is more to this than there is.
Massive news and three is tumbleweed floating past this BB
Poker game just got really ugly....
They can file as many orders as they want.... they still need a buyer and will need OGA support.....
Can someone kindly remind me where the petition is?
I still wonder if OGA have said to both xel and bond holders you need to come up with a better offer for shareholders.....
Exactly - it's a licence, we don't own it...... As such BHs need us as much as we need them - maybe that's why cole put out the doomsday RNS - I.e shareholders stand up and be heard.
Maybe OGA have sent a warning shot over the bows - saying - xel you are at serious risk of loosing the field here (regardless of ownership status) and that it's in everyone's interest to go back to the negotiating table... the reality is that we do still have a negotiating hand here (as share holder) - I.e a no vote wouldt necessarily mean a wrap up - it could push a second BH proposal - either way it's a no from me....
