Agree but shush last thing needed here is hype lien at ODX / AVCT. Just load up! As i notice some folk already doing in v large quantities. Even without demand for the ABC-19 (of which there will be plently) the ABDX is under-valued. I do wonder about the timing of the RNS this morning. It s almost a message that we are getting the orders cause we are the best so agrue with that GLP!

My theory is that ODX have tooled up for the Mologic test and have requested that if the government want ODX to make a different LFT then the gov loans the tooling for them.

Interestingly despite the obvious demand for LFT Antigen tests far exceeding the ODX capacity come April, ODX still state that they will effectively reserve capacity for the ABC -19 Antibody test as required. Bodes well IMO.

The loaned kit will facilitate the 2m a week according to the RNS. The RNS does not stipulate which lft as yet so it's possible that the loaned equip will simply be tooling specific to the preferred lft that meet the requirements. I think there's every chance this may be increased with further expansion . The UK gov is after 2m LFTs per day (14m per week) so if ODX are expecting to have spare capacity to do CD4 or antibody tests they might only be doing 1.4m LFTs (10 % of that required). Further expansion a given IMO. Prob funded by UKGOV!

Infectious yes. Surely that's what we are all really interested in? A friend of mine had a positive PCR 4 weeks after he had recovered from a mild case. Way past being infectious according to his doctor.

I'm sure they'd like to. I assume that unlike the Antibody test the Government don't have first dibs (least for a few days) on the Mologic Antigen? Even at 2M per week I think to only thing limiting ODX will be capacity. I think the UK gov will have the full 2m initially. It wouldn't surprise me if the figure is more like 5m per week back end of summer. that would be over £10M profit per week!
