Signs of life. This guy has an extremely good work history, ex-Coeur and Newmont amongst others. Some Tier 1 names. As much as funding the key focus, if/when that's resolved, having someone with an operational track record like this appointed to the board makes a lot of sense to advance the project.

On another note I love the steady incremental rises we see here, almost regardless of gold at this point. Every now and again interspersed with a good 5%+ day. Such a reliable dependable and performer. Whatever the wider world can throw at it.

Where I do believe board have a very good card to play is demanding repayment from the ousted pair. The board can simply say to them you either arrange repayment, or they'll escalate with FCA. If they did then pay the company back, the absolute least they should do, it solves the short term funding problem. The company would then at least have a foundation to build from.

We are down to a binary bet on the survival of equity itself. Market is already pricing it will fall over, hence an opening for the brave at this bombed out price.

Credit where it's due, it does seem as if new CEO is stepping up to the plate and trying to fix this. And at least NIU are in discussions, they haven't gone totally nuclear. His references to shareholder interests a few times can only be positive indicator of survival of the equity, which counts for a fair bit when this is priced to fall over. And directly say that "intention is to agree funding structures that are as non-dilutive to shareholders as possible".

Undoubtedly risks remain, but what has to work in shareholders' favour here is that it's in everyone's interests for all parties to reach some kind of deal and get this show back on the road.

Impressive example from Cora, $120m royalty funding for 689k/oz indicated at 1.13 g/t Au. Perhaps Jan will look to do similar. Management between them certainly have the contact book if there's a deal to be done. See no reason why a similarly structured royalty deal couldn't be secured here, without recourse to shareholders. Especially if they can prove up the resource here, and signs look good, with clear expansion opportunities at both Molly and Paranaíta. Molly drill results alone potential to be company making.

If she was delivering shareholder value, and this was larger company, nobody would have an issue. Doubt any of us here have issues with people getting rich either, that is what the markets are for.

But when you have a market cap of just £7.5m and one person being paid $400k annually, plus free share options, that is highly disproportionate remuneration. And how can it be right she is paid more than every other board member put together?

Since IPO when she became CEO of the plc, the share price has fallen more than 99%.

She is receiving an excessive reward for an absolutely shocking track record.

Fair enough, I mean I'll certainly not even be looking at his X profile. Some are more easily led by posters on here I guess that might.

To my mind Limpy is far worse though. Rest of us here to make money ultimately, in different ways. But he has that stench of the perpetual money loser. Someone pointed out some of the clangers he'd been ramping, that was funny lol. Funniest part about him is how everyone simply ignores him, in same way if you saw some nutter on the high street talking to himself, last thing you'd do is start chatting to him. But I digress.
