My problem (near 1 min 20 sec ) is understanding the sentence about difficulty getting funding and .. (something, something) .. drilling . Is he saying they could not get an "advance" on drilling? Meaning getting past drilling? Or getting funds for drilling? Or is he saying something else like getting a permit to drill? I understand that Omagh might be a sideshow, but I have not seen any evidence that OP has moved this project either since they acquired 80% ownership. I liked the rest of the presentation. Very exciting. Just like when I bought GAL years ago... At least I am in the green, having doubled down in 2025

I just listened to the CEO presentation. I tried repeatedly to comprehend what he was saying at the very beginning about the Omagh project but he either mumbled something meaningless or the audio is defective. Please would someone post what they think is his verbatim statement. Something about raising funds then ...? .. drilling...? Thanks.

Financing is supposed to close next Wedneday, 10th. Hopefully, trading on Toronto then resumes. There are a lot of large sell orders stacked near 0.09 Can. After the frustrated sellers exit, we may get some useful information about Chile on the company website. Also, we may hear about Omagh. Even Scotland? I hope!

There is no sign they gave up the 20% ownership of the Omagh mine to pay for this new adventure. It is a complex deal with lots of shareholder dilution, but GAL will be a very different company. Gal could have two revenue streams in a year or two. I hope!

I cannot find any evidence there is "a mine" on the Indiana project. The project was optioned to Golden Arrow 2018-20, or later, and they did some drilling. The new group that joined GAL were private, so they may have built a mine but it is not public information.

Neither operating report, nor CI drilling did much for SP. So many PM companies are absorbing the same money, me thinks. What up-coming catalysts do we expect, and when?

Yes, my long-term dud, as well. I guess every portfolio has at least one. Brexit and Covid didn't help, but it may be that NI is just a terrible place for mining, or the mine itself was too complex for the GAL team. But looking forward, I can see a possible redeeming bounce if we get good news- we are already up substantially from the 52 week low.

GAL sp has shown some interesting swings. We hit 15.5 CAN on Sept 10th. This was followed by heavy selling through Canaccord, a brokerage firm reputed to do substantial and aggressive in-house trading. Sp returned to 8-9 cents. Then yesterday, up over 20% at one point. My guess is that GAL will announce final regulatory approval of their deal, plus maybe also news about a possible Omagh restarting date and exploration in Scotland. News about a restart at these new high POG levels could be exciting. Not recommending this stock, but if you have held so far, I suggest you hold on a few weeks longer. Good luck.

Assuming the deal goes through, which we might hear about after the Aug 5th meeting, does GAL ends up with any cash? I would be some time before they see any oz of gold as part of their 20% ownership. How will they pay salaries and start exploring in Scotland?
