The very low and probably bogus "ask" orders previously listed on STOCKWATCH (.24-.26 Can ) have disappeared. Level 2 numbers also look more realistic and in line with AIM trading. Presumably traders are taking the CEO at his word that the halt could be lifted in March.

CEO says likely in March, after new 43-101 is completed and submitted, for what it is worth. Investor video, mid-Feb.

Thanks. Good to know. Halt says "pending news". So, it comes down to whether one believes the CEO, I guess. I'm ambivalent, as much of what he was saying about Omagh over the years did not come to fruition.

There is no corporate document that explains why it takes greater than 60 days to refile a NI43-101 document based on historic drilling data. If you think you have one, point it out. No way is this halted as a "formality". And please stop pretending you know what is going on. Thaks.

Maybe, but has there been exploration since then? If not, plugging the same historical drill results into the same NI 43-101 calculations should give the same results. How long would that take? GAL was halted in early Jan.

So, if they have a NI43-101 from 2021, why did the CEO say in the Feb presentation that they needed to file a new one before trading is lifted?

"As part of the transaction, Ocean Partners has provided an initial capital investment of US$3 million (GBP £2.2 million). These funds are allocated toward exploration, restart planning, and general and administrative costs during the first phase of the joint venture, referred to as the Initial Term". I see no sign of this happening yet, not even a mention in the local newspaper. It has to be done by September of this year and, of course, Ocean Partners will control the news flow. Furthermore, GAL will require funds to retain their 20% ownership as the second year of the deal starts, next September

"operated" by GAL? I'm not sure anyone has done anything at Omagh since the deal went through, despite OP having an obligation to spend on development. Where in company news or other documents does it say GAL is "operator". And as far as I know GAL has a 20% free carry interest for the first year. AI can give you ideas, but you need to verify.

No one knows what caused the transient surge in SP. In the absence of a better idea, I am going with speculation that people were expecting news about the halt in Toronto being lifted . Monday is a great day for company news. Crowd mania drove the SP to unjustified levels last Friday. When no news arrived Monday, SP collapsed. Maybe we will see a more muted rise in SP as we go into the end of this trading week. I hope!

Someone getting stuck with a "put" might explain a higher than average price but no one would enter a contract with those execution prices. Maybe a "wash" ? i.e. self-sale to high-end the close.

Please explain: the last three trades are listed as "unknown" and I can see that the time stamps are from early in the day. But, JHC, why would anyone overpay that much, for that many shares?

We know that PEAK annual production at Andacollo was 135oz. GAL is due 20% Omagh revenue if they pony-up their share of costs, starting in year 2. That would be maybe 6000 oz. They do not state what the rate or gold production is at Indiana. It is probably nil +/- right now. From the initial proposed tons per day and grade, I guess that they are hoping for an initial rate of 7-8000 oz per year by the end of 26H2. Then ramping up. Since OP seems to be doing sweet f.a. at Omagh and Andacollo is going to take some time, I think Indiana is the operation that will be most interesting to watch. If the combined revenues of all three operations reaches 100 oz gold (and copper equivalent) and POG stays near 5000/oz, market cap could be considerably higher in 2 years than now.

The corporate presentation dated "March" had no new information than what was available in the video presentation from the investor conference in Feb (correct me if I am wrong, please). The conference had the additional nugget about the NI43-101 being finished/halt lifted "probably" in March. Yet the SP took off about March 4th. Then rocketed until Friday 6th. Plummeted Monday , levelled-off today. As near as I could make out, trajectory had nought to do with price of gold. GAL is still halted in Toronto and no news. Anyone care to propose what triggered the remarkable rally and it's reversal, other than crowd mania? I am tickled with my GAL investment, but all the recent buyers and sellers cannot be right.

Check " Stockwatch " GAL was halted Jan 6. In the CEO investor presentation in Feb, the CEO said that the company needs to file a NI 43-101

then trading will resume on TSX. He said he expects this to happen in March, probably.

I'm holding a ton of this , halted in Canada. The spread and volatility on AIM are insane.
