Hopefully we have simply taken longer to integrate the business and realise any synergy and associated benefits in what has been a difficult last 12 months to say the least. The next two quarters will be telling and we all hope to see some growth and increased margin.
Time will tell.....
Morning all,
When can we expect the next set of results and whats the reporting timetable for Peri etc ? Hopefully with inflation and interest rates starting to subside we should start seeing some growth as acquisition's and synergy star to deliver. We might even make our own guidance for once...
Back to square one ! we really need to set accurate guidance and actually meet it else we will continue to be slapped down every quarter.
Hi all, was there a new chat forum created to replace the Blueshare chat room ? if i recall there wa sa free forum created , if so can someone please post the link ?
thanks in advance
The fall from last years flirt with £8 to todays £2.20 has been a savage decline over the last 12 months with many factors contributing to the fall but with the integration of Amobee and the later part of the year expected to improve as inflationary pressures subside and synergy starts to yield benefits within the business could we realistically see a share price north on £6 within the next 12 months with 2 solid quarters behind us ? It just seems we were overvalued at £8 or have been marked down too much ??
morning all, whilst i know the failure of SVB has unsettled markets and the Ad tech sector is subdued, surely we are massively oversold now or are we performing much worse than our peers in the sector ?
Also , re the ongoing share buyback , are these bought by the company and cancelled or held in treasury for future sale at a price that will generate a profit ? The buyback hasnt done much to support the SP.
no support support whatsoever and the SP being decimated.
How on earth can we be pushed down over 8% on no news ?
Taking a hammering today and if im honest i dont see the merits of supporting the SP with a buy back as we are spending money trying to artifically defend the SP when the dark forces will ultimately take it where they want anyway in what is a perpetuating circle of churn. Id much rather they invest the money on a complimentary acquisiation that we add trunover and margin that may actually deter the shorters from this aggressive and total focused attack. Expect the bots to stop shortly and let the SP apprecaite before the rinse starts once agin...
Just a quick question if i may, Are the shares the are bought back by the company cancelled of held in the treasury ?
Early days yet after only a few days positive trading but maybe our constant drip seller has made their money shorting on the way down from £8 and is ready to start buying back up towards the riich period of reporting the sector is approaching.
Fingers crossed.
Some sort of gudance cant come soon enough as the selling pressure is a constant drip.
maybe having chased us down with a short position theyll turn the bots round and coin it in on the return to realistic value having started accruing stock . Who knows in this murky shark infested market.
A good update in Feb and surely a rerate will start even if certain parties try and hold back market volume....
When should we expect the next quartley update ? the constant pressure on the SP is relentless and we;ll soon break £5 if we dont find support.
Morning all,
Is this the only discussion board for WTG now ?
Previously i thought there were a couple of live chats ?
Is there another live thread for WTG or is all live discussion on here ?
Whoever is shorting are taking a nice fee for loaning the shares and will let the price become supressed before the shares are returned before the buy all the way back and make from from aspects of the actions. They arent ging to destroy the value of their own holding. The company with a buyback or some of the II's could put a squeeze on but rarely does anyone get caught holding the baby with a short squeeze and freindly brokers often help the exit. Blackrock and alike previously known for yaking short positions in their own holdings.
we can hope but rarely do you ever see prices spike when shorts cover and most have a friendly broker helping them exit any positions.
Im expecting the SP to climb with all the speculation of interest , trading performance , profits , threat of buyback, Core investors protecting their interests etc etc
Agree we arent going to go cheaply and arent in a fire sale . The recent actions could be the start of a softening up while accumulating shares or coincidence but other entities will start taking note now and see we have cash in the bank , in a sector going places with great growth and margin.
any of the three below are most likely to happen :
1) recent news deters the shorters tinking there wont be much more downside and a chance of being caught with pants down with leftfield news or buying pressure.
2) Company stats buyback programme and as above shorters exit for easier money elsewhere and SP climbs again.
3) Company become target of a bidding war as entities take postions whether company starts a buyback or not.
All the above help support the SP. the only downside being a sale before a we rerate to what should be a much better SP albeit any sale will be much higher than current position.
Time for the brave to accumulate...
similar happens on dual listing shares on the ASX and AIM where there is obviously no overlap on trading hrs.
Even without dual listing there never appears to be short squeezes where shorters get caught with news thats spikes the shars and they always seem to make orderly exits.
Brokers arent always the most ethical either ie forcing discounted placing , loaning shares, shorting positions having issued inflated buy rating etc etc.
This will blow over and when the hedge fund has squeezed loose shares out and made easy profit / margin they will move on and copany news / results will dictate the direction of the SP.
NB the fee to loan shares can be as much as 10% so a lucrative position knowing youll have youre shares returned and often the entity will buy heavily knowing they have created a discounted SP and without shorting will ride the rise back up.
Short interest itself isnt unhealthy or a concern ( only for companies looking to raise money , those already on the ropes or massively overvalued none of which bracket we are in.
