RE: MoD procurement13 Sep 2025 09:01
I think it's wise to take a step back and look at the fundamentals of investing, eg: funding, product, commercialisation roadmaps, contracts and revenue.
We know so far that DH will be participating in collaboration with WhiteSpace to develop an AI defense product. There is little information on what terms and in what aspect.
DH's involvement is not a direct collaboration with the MoD. Its through WhiteSpace so it raises the question whether they will be granted a funding package as claimed and to what portion.
I like to know more details about DH's role in the grand scheme of it all. If WhiteSpace and other bigger organisations are co-developing the AI defence product, then how does DH fit into all of this.
Will they be just acting as a supporting role and if so the reality of it can be very different to market expectations.
I'm not dismissing MoD's plans but also at the same time DH are rarely mentioned in any of the official news. If you look closer the names that are being mentioned like Microsoft, Google, Fujitsu, and the closest you'd get is WhiteSpace. It really raises the question at this stage how relevant are DH.
Now, please don't shoot me down for saying as I'm someone with a cautionary trait, but at this stage DH reminds me of Genedrive. Genedrive once showed to be very promising with their flagship products at the forefront of Point of Care pharmacogenetic testing in emergency healthcare, and was recommended by the UK NHS. We have all witnessed how that went with the company running costs far exceeding any real kinds of revenue.
My point is until there are more details and a definitive RNS elaborating DH's role in the midst of all of this and their plans including funding and company running costs and realistic strategy to commercialisation, then everything is speculation.
The share price has risen 2,566.67% in the last 6 months on hot air and the market cap is at 31.14M. The higher it gets the more risk exposure.
