What if Heron1 cannot be remedied to the initial reported figure of 800bopd?

No more JV talks and limited funds to go alone in future operations.

I did say it was a make or break situation DEPENDENT on Heron.

Does Matad have enough funds and the capability to fix Heron1?

I suspect the rejection of JV over the years from Petrol China is their lack of confidence in Matad.

Matad have tried many times the convenience to leech onto a major for the benefits.

There is no free lunch in this world I'm afraid.

I find it quite amusing the rampers are posting 24/7 and most of them aren't even factual information.

And whenever someone points out they immediately gets harassed.

What are these rampers think they can achieve exactly?

Do they seriously think by them posting how great things are looking people would buy?

On the contrary, if the company delivered good results, then it wouldn't go unocticed even without the existence of the rampers

So really...the rampers think too highly of themselves thinking they have some sort of impact...

The rampers are complaining people are discussing the share here.

Well, be careful what you wish for, because soon, this board could be very quiet when nothing is happening months and months down the line.

People will then move on and for the unlucky holders, good luck trying to get back your original investment.

This is now a looooong hold for many.

The fun part is what's said in today's AGM about JVs, H1/2 fixes etc are not guaranteed a success case.

Matad is merely using 2025 to work on these areas to see what they can do with them.

They could succeed, but they could also fail.

"Mr Buck say explicitly - Operating expenses very low and Inventory value comfortably cover this.'

Mr Buck has also said it be a quick fix for H1 but it's been months without progress

For anyone invested recently in the 2s, I think it will be a minimum 9-12 months wait for any major news that would move the SP back to those levels.

Don't forget it's looking like a downtrend from here onwards.

Recent buyers have gotten a taster of MB and his BS.

Imagine being here for 10 years plus, with each year like this morning's AGM, lots of plans and hopes, but months and years down the line none of them are realized.

The LP was supposed to be standard process and it has taken 5 years

So when MB mentions quick, he wisely chose that word rather than giving a definite time scale.

Think about it, if you're a CEO managing millions, you would have consulted with your technical team and then gave an approx time scale, eg: the problem is an easy fix that will take no longer than 2 weeks

It's like when you call the handyman for a job, he will give a quotation with pricing and time needed for the job.

Why can't Matad do that

Could be sub 1p by year end

Hence the rampers are proper panicking

I would love to see that and see what the rampers will say then

Perhaps it's because of the false promises made in the past, mixed with misleading comments like "fully funded" and then proceeded with a raise.

Talks of JV partnership is to be taken with a pinch of salt as it has been ongoing for 10 years.

Notice there is no definitive timeline given for any of the plans.

It's the case of "we hope" more than "we strategically deliver"

For years, the old geezer had been stringing shareholders along, promising this and that...

How about report back to the market after something has been achieved instead of saying we WILL be doing...

And what have they been doing for the last 3-4 months since there has been little progress on many fronts...

If they had been actively engaging with potential JV partners, and actively looking for solutions to remedy the wells, why has there been no progress?

From today's AGM, they don't even have a solid plan on how to proceed, it's always the " we will look into options" etc

So what have they discussed/done in the last 3-4 months in their office?

The same constant drivel posted by the ramping crew is getting beyond boring.

The SP is red, it's a fact.

The market doesn't seem this a good news.

There are little to no progress made.

There has only been talks of this and that and those are potentials.

No concrete has happened.

Notice it's always about we WILL do this and that, not we HAVE done etc

Most likely nothing much will happen for the rest of this year.

Perhaps there are some underlying issues with the export signature.

I refer back to the LP which ended up 5 years to obtain.

H1/2 & Gobi are just false hopes to buy time for the company.

Same with the JV talks. MB says that every year for 10 years, still no deal.

Give it a couple of months and there'll be a raise.

The narrative then will be the raise will be used for x. Something supposedly good to justify it
