My new outlook for this share is that it will be nearer to 0.40 by mid 2026.

This will be a repeat that the view will be labelled as stockbashing until it actually happens.

This will go below 0.80 for sure.

By 2026 it'll be nearer to 0.40 on poor results from H2/Gobi and by that time they'd be looking to raise again for Borzon and Sunsteppe.

Sorry to break it to you all but what do you think if H2 and Gobi show poor results. They did announce no oil shows for Gobi and that they think oil have moved.

So...why is Matad raising to have another go at it, at shareholders expense.

Why don't they just start Borzon, I mean they did bid the new licence. If they made a move to bid the licence, the the obviously think it's worth their time.

You see, there's no strategy here.

It's purely gamble using PI money as seen over the years. Just another excuse for them to keep raising and keep the company going.

I still think that Oracle Power has more chance of success than Matad.

Oracle Power has secured a JV with Riversgold and they are on a free carry until December this year. The Northern Zone Gold continue to show positive results.

Oracle Power also have a number of projects in Pakistan. I think people are underestimating the Chinese Pakistan relationship. China under the CPEC alliance, have obligation to invest and transform the Pakistan infrastructure.

This could be one hell of an opportunity with their market cap at 1.75million.

The Northern Zone Gold project alone could be valued at an 20-100million market cap.

Some people might think this is truly the bottom as the share price seems to have bottomed out.

Short term there could be a small up lift, but in the longer run I think the SP will further drift.

USD$2.25 million is no where enough and Matad is heading towards winter shut down.

By the time they exit winter shut down in April 2026, the proceeds of USD$2.25 million will have most likely been used up.

It's another gamble, and one leaning towards poor results from H2 and Gobi.

Buying in now is not risk free.

You know what is truly bad about today's news?

For one, I think it's pretty clear that a JV isn't going to happen. The rampers have suggested a JV partnership for the bigger player to fund the Matad projects. It doesn't look that way now does it?

Secondly, a raise of USD$2.25 million will not be enough considering the number of projects Matad has got.

Note they said the proceeds are used on H1, and further work on H2 and Gobi?

Well, they will need more funds for Borzon and Sunsteppe in the future. That translates to more dilution.

I was one of two people who boldly suggested H1 to be nearer to 200bopd than 800bopd than most had suggested.

I also warned people a raise is imminent judging by the number of projects they have taken.

MB and team have no strategy, there isn't a clear road map or any transparency of their set goals.

They make it sound like lots is happening but how about focus on boosting more profit first.

Management is the reason the share is failing.

Yes, a lot of Pakistan officials have shown corruption in the past.

However, many shareholders have bought in for the major player China, for their CPEC relationship as part of the China Pakistan relation.

It's not so much about Pakistan alone but never underestimate what China and their influence can do. They have transformed themselves and neighbouring countries at a rapid pace investment wise.

In addition to that, there are the Australia projects with adds another level of significance value to the share.

People are not seeing this is heavily undervalued.
