For me SML is a winner that has got involved with a main Cobre client who are pushing their difficulties on to us. News could indeed drop at any time. However it hasn't over three months since the payment was due at the end of May.

Another week starts with no news. JP must be getting very frustrated. We certainly are. Even if it is too early to start legal action against the Cobre main client I would hope JP is having strong words with them to persuade them to pay up before legal action has to be started. They're really pushing their luck on this.

What makes sense to the politicians in Slovenia is what will happen. That's been the case up till now and will be going forward. JB has to fit AST in to that political thinking.

Can I suggest if you believe in electric cars, etc. a good investment would be SML? It's a battery materials company which is also down currently. Bad form I know to talk about other companies but it seems relevant with the current discussion here.

AST in Slovenia is all about politics. Even the environmentalists are accepting Russian gas. So the environmental argument there is false. Petisovci gas is better environmentally than pumping Russian gas over thousands of miles in pipelines.

There's a reason the contributors here are limited. Abusive replies from the few disuade people from contributing. It's a shame as but unfortunately too prevalent.

There's been too many weeks of silence. We'd got used to frequent jolly podcasts from JP. I thought it was because news was imminent. However it's dragged on to many weeks now.

I understand JP reads the forum as he has commented on Cornish in the past. Let's hope he reacts soon to boost confidence.

With the official spread between 0.95 and 1.05 the SP has been jumping between those figures depending on whether it's a buy or a sell. Can only understand selling at this price when the seller needs cash. Otherwise the SP is so low it wouldn't make sense.

A £300 sell looks like a forced sell to access needed cash. The MMs see that and offer a low price, which is inevitably accepted as the seller needs the cash.

And electric cars: Recycling the dead batteries of electric cars when they have run their life cycle will become a major issue by the mid century. Local gas at Petisovci is the least of the Worl'd's problem.

Petisovci gas is there, ready to be accessed with wells in place. It doesn't require enormous transportation in gas pipelines from Russia. Gas is the best form of fossil fuel. Wind and solar are good but require energy to produce and transport to set up the windfarms and instant energy is not reliable from them when they are up and running. Nuclear power is fine until you have a Chenobyl when you have an issue lasting over 20,000 years.
