Yes but why would a lender provide funding at any interest rate unless they were confident of getting their money back? 10% indicates a higher risk perception but if they don't get their money back the risk is 100%.

Is the quote. That states the decision to require an Environmental Impact Assessment was not correct. That was several months ago.

The only way for the situation to get worse would be if the company folded. Any help from any company is a lifeline to AST. JB is doing his stuff and we should appreciate that.

I expect a sensible approach to investing. Intentionally attempting to damage the SP of a company is unethical as it damages the economy of the country. I don't expect you all to see that as shorters are just looking after themselves and don't care about the economy.

That's what shorting does to small companies trying to improve the economy. It stops investment in those companies.

As I said: a dangerous game this shorting.

PI's have placed their hard earned into SXX and are supporting a UK company and therefore the UK economy. Of course most have done so for personal gain. However the side effect is also to help a UK company in the north east create jobs and a return for the UK economy. You have to see passed the apparent selfish motive and see the actual effect of PI's investment.

And those private investors have put their hard earned into this company not just for a profit when the company does well but also with confidence in a UK company accessing a useful product for the UK economy.

Interesting that the petition map shows a concentration around the local area but there is a significant spread around the whole country. This is of national interest, not just to share holders but also to the country as an asset that will bring a significant return to the national economy. This isn't just a cry to prop up private investors it's a genuine benefit for the national economy.

It does look tacky and Brexit has a bearing but not as a stick to attack the government on a petition. Biting the hand that may feed?

No. I think 100% share ownership means ownership of the company. Not actually necessary as 51% bought over time will sneak in a majority ownership. Cant see it acually happening though. Personally I like the Bod we have. Just don't like the current direction of travel and lack of information leading to a sliding SP and consequent difficulty of recovery.
