No one lost money by making a profit. However this is severely oversold and the market tends to correct after a while. That 'while' can be days or even weeks.

People will buy in and hold if they feel the SP is going to rise. The positive news is there already. Cobre making money, Leigh Creek starting production and ramping up to full production in 2020 and Redmoor now 100% owned with great future prospects (pun intended). Those in the know will be buying. The rest just need educating. This is oversold.

Not sure how brexit has anything to do with it. The Slovene government has been very unhelpful even while we've been a member of the EU. Someone buying 1 million share chunks either has confidence in JB or knows something else of what is happening. From previous experience with the Slovene court I doubt we'll get much out of the legal proceedings. JB may have a way. CH certainly didn't.

I hope JB is fully aware of the legal and political history with AST. Maybe he has a better way of dealing with it compared to CH with JB's experience in Poland and Hungary. We can only hope so. Otherwise it's just a case of producing what they can in Slovenia and getting out to Croatia.

Imagine it Brockster. AST lost the court case in 2016 when the legal advice was otherwise. The court didn't follow the law in place at the time but AST didn't appeal the decision. JB has to do what can be done without permits in Slovenia and move on. That's all we can assume can happen. Anything else is wishful thinking as the years of getting no where has shown.

It's only worth buying here if you think it will go to 0.4p or higher. Otherwise the spread kills the trade. So with Rocket saying it's going lower it doesn't maker sense for him to trade. He would have to think it would go higher. He isn't saying that.

Morning all. The thing about chart forecasts coupled with fundamentals is they tend to be correct but it's just the timing of when a reaction happens that can't be forecast - today, tomorrow, next week ...

I would agree Pinguser. However the politics can not be forgotten. It is the fundamental reason why AST has not been successful. Gas known to be there and wells already in place, just with eight of the ten needing reopening, a stuck tool removed from PG 11a and PG10 stimulated. If the Slovene government had been cooperative AST would have been successful. JB has to answer what he is doing going forward. The past has happened and can not be altered. Various decisions have to be made to mitigate the past, especially getting a better relationship with the government.

We already knew the issue with the Cobre client. That has been placed in an RNS officially. Otherwise there are minor issues at Leigh Creek which can be dealt with. We had been up at 1.75p. Now the situation has been stabilised a bounce back to that could be expected?

A little Surprised (as in the name - hint) this hasn't bounced back up a little. It's oversold and still looking good despite the previous main client at Cobre, now departed. Although charts don't really work for AIM shares, as they tend to bounce around on good and bad news, this is an excellent company with excellent prospects at Leigh Creek and Redmoor and Cobre is still creating income. Now that SML has stabilised with known factors at Cobre, LC, Redmoor and Hans Camp the SP should react to the oversold situation and bounce a little?
