I recall Alan Broome telling us something about the client as I believe he visited them. He said he was quite impressed. However he clearly wasn't privy to their financial position.

The case should be cut and dried for SML as the money was clearly owed. The only issue I can think of would be if the client went bankrupt and took refuge under the U.S. Chapter 11 bankruptcy laws.

1p of share price = about £14.68 million. So the loss in the $4 million from the Cobre client has actually lost SML around £16 million in MCap. That's going from around 1.7p to 0.6p at the close. That's why I hope JP screws the Cobre client for as much as possible.

Tony you had a spat with 'me' (my forum name) many months ago. You've been against the AST BoD in good and bad news. If you think I'm always toeing the party line then you have a very blinkered view. I have frequently called out the company as recently as Tuesday at 19:54 when the deramping responses flooded this forum. I believed there veracity and then listened to the recording of the call this morning. I, along with bradis and a few others, have always been open minded about the company and have only been optimistic when RNSes showed some progress and with the fact (it is a fact) of the known gas reserves and the wells already in place.

So stop your bickering with me and make some sensible contribution to the forum.

LJ, LC was clear about the legal action as well. He stated such things move very slowly in Central European countries and therefore by the end of the year may be expected and maybe later. I'm sure come the end of the year some on here will be saying that LC 'promised' it would happen by the end of the year. Correct Ray. The call tells us what they are doing, as far as they can. You want chapter and verse. You're not getting it. You wouldn't get it with any Bod.

The MMs see they can pick up shares cheaply and therefore have no current reason to raise the SP. Nay sayers here are discouraging buyers and those interested are naturally cautious until they get the news intimated by LC and JB. So: shallow gas from the seismic and stimulation permits after proper talks by a Bod more familiar with the wider Central Europe.

Leigh Creek will do fine. You have to expect a learning curve to start with. For someone to say it has been 'shelved' is clearly nonsense. Once you start acid flowing through a heap you can't just stop it. Well you could but it would cost a lot more to remove a toxic heap than just letting it progress and getting what copper cement you can and then improving future heaps with the knowledge you gain.

For me the upper end of the estimated range on the Cobre income was the most significant factor in the RNS. Any company needs cash flow and that's providing it.

I've listened to the call and it's absolutely clear they tell us what they can considering everyone reads this forum, including the ENVIRONMENTALISTS. Can you hear that now. Many have mentioned it over many years. Some refuse to get past their own personal bias.

Having just listened to the conference call I have to say I am astounded at the vehemence shown by some on the forum as it was going out live on Tuesday evening. It seems some have questions which either could not be answered directly because they were price sensitive or were from some on here who are clearly abusive in their posts about the company. I can sympathise with those who have lost money as I have too. At one time I had 25 million shares in AST. Not anymore and I only sold a small proportion above 2p as I believed in the companies asset to continue holding a large number. However being abusive helps no one, including the abuser.

The seismic is being dealt with although the processing is more complex than previously thought. They will not divulge the seismic itself but just the actions going forward in accessing the shallower levels.

The BoD have experience in Central Europe and are using that to help in their dealings with the Slovene bureaucracy. We can not expect to be told the exact nature of the dealings, as some seem to want. It should be be realised this forum certainly has environmentalist contributors and readers who would try anything to stop AST. Just look at Extinction Rebellion in London. Revealing all to us will provide the ammunition they need.

John did not say a lot as he mainly commented on just the geology. Louis made most of the running. He is the Chairman and that is his job. What JB did say was factual and to the extent that he could with the provisos I have already pointed out.

There was a lot more in the 20 minute recording and you should listen to it properly before going with those who just shout down the company on here. Bitter and twisted they may be or environmental activists who don't want to see Petisovci gas produced at all. Like the XR activists in London who are protesting a government which has wind and solar farms all over the UK and offshore the environmental faction in Slovenia is largely misguided. And what concerns there are are easily dealt with by legislation to ensure the gas is produced cleanly.

Copper sulphate is blue. Copper with sulphuric acid gives copper sulphate. Just oxidizing copper turns it green. I recall they use hydrochloric acid with leach heaps but would need to check that.
