For me the appeal is a side issue. Even if we got a result it won't change much. It's unlikely any Slovene court will rule in favour of AST. They didn't in 2016 when they went against their own law to be in favour of the Slovene government position. The old communist ways clearly still live on in many Easter European countries. If AST actually won an appeal the money won't be forthcoming, at least not any time soon. We've seen the IPPC being issued when it is useless without stimulation permits. So there's a calculated position with the Slovene government to ensure AST is kept quiet as far as production is concerned but without pushing AST out in a way that a European court could be used.

What we need is for JB to use his supposed oil and gas expertise to get the gas out of the ground from the shallower levels without relying on permits or appeals and to move forward as best we can. Colin had little oil and gas expertise and I would expect JB to be ahead of him on that. From improving company income with that we can then move out to Croatia to create a much more stable situation, more confidence in the market and therefore a better MCap and SP.

London people have a guilty conscience from the years of pollution back to the old pea souper fogs. The rest of us now have to be told how awful we are. Electric vehicles are good for city driving, short distances and no direct pollution but the electricity is generated miles away where the rest of us are polluted by it. It's coming though so SML are in the right business. Just need to get the stuff out of the ground.

Mine was a Grundig. A good German make. It still works nearly 30 years on. A 4 hour tape became 8 hours as you could turn it over. The head tracked the information on the tape improving the quality. VHS and Betamax had fixed heads. If the tape was a little out of alignment you lost quality.

I believe they incorrectly used the word 'inside'. Technically can buy unless they are in a closed period. I like to think they meant closed period. Otherwise using the term 'inside' doesn't make sense. Unless it was just an excuse. And that would be just another worry. If they meant closed period then we could expect some decent news shortly ....

5 million shares bring just £8,300. At 2p would have been £100,000. That's taking a major hit. If nothing else the BoD should see that and realise the damage that's being done here if someone is willing to take that hit. Doesn't help either that some idiot is constantly having a go at me as if I'm to blame. Absurd. I think some people's mental health is certainly getting effected.

Some of these Directors are quite disconnected from the shareholders. The call was quite cold with answers they could give only and a polite distance from shareholders which was obvious.

We can only hope they wish to see the gas out of the ground and can persuade the Slovene government to authorise the permits to allow a clean flow of gas for the country.

Anyone here who speaks positively is considered a supporter of Colin and the current BoD. I have only talked about the known gas in the ground and the 10 wells, 2 producing. The Bod has changed. The asset hasn't.

LC only seems to be in doubt by some on here. No doubt has been expressed by the BoD. In fact no recent updates have been made at all, creating the doubt here.

The Slovene government clearly prefer the easier way of appeasing the Russians and the environmentalists by importing Russian gas and not wanting any larger amounts of Petisovci gas. I believe much of the heating of people in the countryside use is with polluting wood burning stoves and any gas is used by light industry and the relatively small population in towns for central heating. Slovenia has a small population anyway. They probably allowed AST in in 2004 in the same way as MPs here voted to trigger Article 50 and voted on subsequent Brexit bills only to adamantly oppose Brexit when it came to the final deal. Now AST are looking to stimulate to increase production the Slovene government has decided against. The new BoD needs to find a way around this, Boris style.
