I don’t remember where I read it but here is copy from September 2021 from the guardian - it was a fight over how many planes they should buy. The board won out. Been in and out of ezj since 2013 so tend to read most stuff…can’t help sorry -maybe was just impression I got that peace had broken out between Stelios and the board.

“ EasyJet shares fell 9% on Thursday and it is now trading at less than half its pre-Covid value. Haji-Ioannou has indicated that he won’t invest any more money in it until it cancels its Airbus orders for more A321s – meaning his 25% stake will be diluted to 15% after the rights issue” (Guardian September 2021)

I thought Stelios made his peace with the board last summer? Clearly am not paying attention!

All same think he’s peed off with SP and mentioned getting listed in US relatively recently. We wait and see.

Who could they possibly be dealing for, if not Stelios? He and his brother sitting on > 15%

All sorted now. Most people know to expect things not always to go smoothly when travelling. Everyone will get over themselves…no one is going to unbook their holidays.

C26 has always been on the money and I’ve supported him in the past. He/she is however wrong on some points and is often unpleasant/dismissive. You cannot argue with the financial analysis. I got really small position here, so no axe to grind. C26 - just be nice OK? Nice evening everybody :)

How much is this worth? A timely sale to correct buyer would wipe out half the net debt. But wtfdik

The financial situation looks awful. However, have stuck my toes in here again because I do believe the brand value is greater than the net debt.
