What a great couple of months! Have been moving house for the last couple of weeks plus business/covid related issues so haven't been around much just wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas/happy new year. Congrats on your current success everyone!
In regards to SC being the catalyst for a noisy BB, anything will stir the pot on any subject anywhere. Mooch through any forum and announce that the sky is blue and you'll always have someone tell you it's green - that's just what happens when humans are given anonymity!
Trust Zag, there's a lot more of us watching from the sidelines trying to sift through all the speculative bullsh#t everyone's posting on here. Most of us are here for the long haul and the oil not the bickering.
Trust me, they aren't in awe ha ha. If you want some real insider info, sometimes I sing it in my head to time brushing my teeth!
You're right, I can't. Jumped ship at 82p in case we fell into the ye olde crash as per June and August but after seeing it holding this time round it just solidified perception that AML is going to make a strong comeback :) Ta for info!
Never been part of a consolidation before, what happens to the chart? Does it remain as is with a huge spike or does the chart change to reflect out of interest?
Also in at £14.60 lol - Well I guess anyone saying this share would be £1 plus early this year wouldn't have been wrong!

Had a buy sitting for 3 hours now FYI
I'm unsure of the context of this however I am (possibly?) ashamed to admit I know and learnt the lyrics to this once also lol
"Commenting, Simon Potter, CEO of BPC, said:
“Given the ever-evolving and escalating Covid-19 situation around the world, the sobering reality is that preventing the Covid-19 virus spreading onto the Perseverance #1 drilling installation in the first place is dramatically more cost effective than having to deal with it once it has arrived offshore. Hence the considerable efforts put in by BPC, Stena and participating contractors and service companies to develop even more stringent measures to detect and diminish the risk of infection, which are now being implemented, but which will come at a cost.
Fortunately, given the flexible range of funding options the Company has developed over the course of the last two years, we have successfully agreed an increase to the size of our Conditional Convertible Note facility by £4.75 million to offset this increased cost. Moreover, we are pleased that the providers of this facility have demonstrated their commitment to the project by agreeing to provide a portion of this facility unconditionally once the well is spud, and the balance expected to be available as required. In aggregate, these arrangements provide enhanced financial capacity, notwithstanding a worsening Covid-19 environment.
We are aiming to assess what hydrocarbon resource potential lies within the territorial waters of The Bahamas, for the mutual benefit of the nation and people of The Bahamas, the shareholders of BPC, and all other stakeholders. Safe, responsible, and uninterrupted operation is our key objective in the ever changing global Covid-19 environment, and these additional costs and increased funding arrangements reflect a prudent approach to achieving this objective.”
The run-up to drilling the Perseverance#1 well has taken a long time and never been easy, patient shareholders would have been astonished if it had been given a clear run to spud date in December but at least now with the astute financing put in place by the company it is not insurmountable. Other bumps in the road may have to be taken but with everything now in place BPC deserves to take its chance at Perseverance…"
Haha, if you squint hard enough Torquay's two palm trees could be the Bahamas...
To be fair it is a chunk for AIM lol
I quote this scene all the time, what a fantastic job Christoph Waltz did in this movie. Grade A.
...
Haha, you too 33!
Aware we haven't received an RNS or CPR however also bear in mind the departure date was pulled from the listings, IR stating "departure by the end of the month" and then took off in the middle of the night last night which everyone on the inside would have been fully aware of.
BOD know what they're doing I'm sure and keeping things quiet, especially in regards RNS/CPR, and probably for a good reason.
Ships sailed, until next update everything just pure speculation.
Good amount of the UK now remaining in total lockdown waiting for their work to reopen, should see an influx of people looking to fill their time with decent return trades.
When we head through the Bermuda triangle? Answers on a postcard.
To be fair I wouldn't even quibble at a RW chase right now - Drill is going ahead and would just push more investors on board at this stage
