I'm not concerned, just seems strange, they should have cancelled CEG shares and then issued Santana's shares the following day, just no need to leave them for 12 days. I mean 24 December, Christmas Eve, market will close at 12.30, clowns !!

What if Santana get great news or Chevron take OFF3 and CEG holders cannot trade, I will just wait it out.

Just got a message from Lloyds stockbrokers who I use and hold all my shares with.

They are saying CEG shares will stop trading on the 12 December and I will get Sintana Shares on the 24 December.

Why is there a 12 day wait, it should be done on the same day with the technology we have , seems bizarre to me ?

Ok, So if we assume the Farmout is a done deal and we all hope that it is, do we know that eme's share 8.5% is included in the deal ? I assume it is as whats the point of not taking up a small percentage.

My second question is what debits does eme have, we owe Conrad a fee , no idea how much and on top of that what do we owe the bondholders an amount and its quite a few million.

On the positive side what if its included in the farm down do we get for our 8.5% because that less the costs \i have highlighted will determine the market cap and hence the share price.

I have no idea what that is and hoping its very positive but I have lost a significant sum here over the years and this is eme, seen it all before, I just hope this time its a winner and a superb legacy to the sad passing of Tom Kelly.

Why bother answering to that person, he is either completely clueless or a beginner and if they are just starting do some research.

I was against the takeover but its going to proceed in my view so that's it done. I can see the advantages and I am here for the long term, well certainly medium.

So it looks like this acquisition by Sintana will go through based on the % of shares both boards have, it will be a court decision if I have this correct that if 75% of CEG holders agree it will proceed and we will be part of Sintana.

I am still unsure in that I thought the best deal was to stay as we are based on OFF1 & OFF3 but having read the potential of Sintana with PEL 87 and Mopane plus our assets it may be ok.

Also in a better position to raise cash if required or when required.

Perhaps Chevron may take out the merged company anyway.

Well I am not pleased with the merger, well takeover and the share price to date since the announcement says it all, not strong today, not sure Sintana shareholders are pleased either. The whole issue of CEG agreeing to this is in my view a poor deal for the shareholders, not interested in the bloody directors new positions even though they will be shareholders.

Why, when we have farmed-out to Chevron OFF1 and a fair chance of similar at OFF3 and they gave us 12.5M and was it a free drill do we need to go in with Sintana.

Why has Sintana share price halved in the last year, they are in Africa so difficulties there drilling and getting a decent deal, they have is it PEL operator Galp.

I will vote against it but make no difference it will go through, perhaps Sintana may reject it.

I had this as a buy but I said yesterday I think its a poor deal for CEG Shareholders, the details said an equivalent share price of 16.61p to CEG well its at best today 13p on the bid. I guess many shareholders here will have sold yesterday and today as they absorb the news, we were so close to news and probably a second farmout with Chevron and now its gone or it will be when voted through.

My reasons are as above plus when I look at Sintana why has their market cap halved in a year, read about the huge potential in Namibia and heard it all before,

I hope I am wrong, not a huge holder but for me I have over 250000 shares in CEG and look at Malcys prediction 25p and revised to 50p well that looks a distant memory. I will hold for now but not convinced.

I see they have put the ask up, bid next I assume, seems to have a clear run to 13/14 then hopefully to Macys 25p and beyond.

With Chevron an board this is a no brainer in my view but each to their own.

Why are we bothered about Bahamas, it was a disaster, its Uruguay that's the focal point, I wouldn't go anywhere near Bahamas.

Probably cost a fortune in legal fees , focus on NOW on Uruguay.

Eme has never done me any favours in 17 years, I have remained here thinking one last chance to recover my losses.

As usual it started great but has not continued, I had written it off but will wait it out, 7 bloody years for Mako and still we wait, I cannot understand Coro bailing doesn't add up.

Finally I saw the calculation and a price of was it 1.05p but didn't look like the bond holders were factored in, anyone have any thoughts, would like to get a correct forecasted price.
