In4cedros, Yes I understand what you are saying and time will tell, today and yesterday I note quite a few large sells, are those shares that they acquired in the issue of shares earlier this week, if so doesn't give much confidence If they are selling them.

I will hold mine and see what happens, SEI was up in Canada yesterday !!

I posted this on the other board, also what are all those trades at 24p, the bid is down, are they sells, if so is it to do with those shares issued the other day

I noticed the price has been dropped on IG to 21.9p odd when bid is 23p, my shares are in Lloyds but its easier to check on IG on phone.

I nearly sold all mine the day they were converted from CEG to Sintana beginning to wish I had but we are where we are.

The track record in Bahamas was a disaster but with CEG and the involvement with Chevron I thought this looked a good buy, now taken over by Sintana and their share price is the lowest its been down 60% in a year.

My initial thoughts were its a bad deal for CEG perhaps good for Santana, whats happened with the seismic Q4 and there was about £12.5M from Chevron, are Sintana short of cash.

They need some news out and tell us what the hell is going on.

Not much discussion here, is there another board or other site that's more appropriate.

I see there is an RNS this morning, seems to be an issue of shares, bit puzzling to me, price quite static despite all the upbeat comments from company and broker.

Morning, Well not the best start after CEG takeover by Sintana, early days, should we have gone it alone.all irrelevant now, anyway the directors and major holders decided for us.

The market makers soon drop the bid, why, well because very few buyers at the moment, clearly they saw as I did the share price was higher than when it was CEG and sold into it, some of us couldn't as bloody Lloyds didn't convert mine, not sure if they have today either, will check later.

Sintana need to start promoting the new company and quickly, what about the seismic which was due to start before Q4 whats the position with Chevron, and apart from words what have Sintana brought to get the price up, I did note Sintana share price was the lowest in a year on or around the takeover date, why, have they any cash..

I am staying but if things don't get started and quick I will sell up, have an average now of about 7p with CEG approaching 250K CEG shares so half say of sintana.

Lloyds still havent converted my CEG shares to Sintana, and I have approaching 250000 shares in CEG.

Well was going to add this morning but got this from Lloyds.

"We expect the New Sintana shares to be credited to your account on or after 24th December 2025."

I looked at Sintanas share price a year ago and as I said earlier it dropped from 124 to 61 and recently after the acquisition of CEG its now 39.5, that's my concern but I decided not to sell any. I am not a huge holder but near 250000 CEG shares.

hi sam, my original view was that it was a crap deal for ceg but i decided to stay perhaps influenced by malcy & robin mayes boards.

i looked at the share price for sintana and its fallen from 124 to 61 and after the deal was announced its now 39.5, so both companies look crap.

sintanas price is dragging ceg down but we are now part of them but the equivalent price is about 10p, makes you wonder what goes on, anyway we are where we are, somewhat ****ed off with ceg board agreeing to it when we had chevron with us.

I see they have dropped the bid, should have sold and bought back, but I didn't, I may add a few more at this price. Santana price opened up to 44 now 42 same as Friday.

Perhaps done us all a favour, enable us to buy more at a cheaper price, thanks

I agree it all seems great but the share price is now back level for the day and down after the Sintana announcement yesterday.

Maintains his 25p target price for CEG

I did notice Sintana's price has fallen about 12% over the last few days, is this due to GALP, nothing RNS'ed from CEG about it either, to me its price sensitive, CEG down a little today also.

Thoughts ?

Just got back in, I see the share price is down a little, I note Santina price down to 54, is their any reason, my initial reaction was a poor deal for CEG but changed as I saw what Santina had to offer especially Galp, chevron.

Is Eldwick gone gaga ??

Have you seen the post by Eldwick on LSE, he is suggesting that the shares may not be traded on AIM, I had a similar concern because there was no specific date it mentioned 24 December but not very specific.

They state the shares will be traded in TSXV

To be honest he is stating we have been scammed which I find bizarre. My shares are with Lloyds stockbroking and this is what I was advised in my isa and a standard share dealing accounts.

I wondered if any had a view or is he talking crap which I assume he is !!!

Also noticed, looks like there have been quite a few sells the last week or so, any thoughts on this. The deal with Sintana looks a no brainer to me, although initially I was against it.

I posted earlier that we would get 0.4705 for every CEG share, still don't follow why they cannot list on AIM same day.

Just got a message from Lloyds stockbrokers who I use and hold all my shares with.

They are saying CEG shares will stop trading on the 12 December and I will get Sintana Shares on the 24 December.

Why is there a 12 day wait, it should be done on the same day with the technology we have , seems bizarre to me ?
