The interview wasn't a disaster but it wasn't a rip-roaring success either. GR didn't add anything new and, in any event, one has to take what he says with a dose of salt! Certainly, there's a sense of regret that the relationship with Canmax has soured. He didn't give any clues as t how this will be resolved but has batted everything back to Canmax. I think he'll get his headroom at the agm and he'll issue shares today. What a mess!

Raaydaar - I'd like to see that happen too but he's got so much skin in the game that he'll want to, at least, get this sorted, Beyond that, his days are surely numbered.

I reckon that Canmax or another interested party will buy enough to get control, as a minimum, or will buy us all out. I think we'll hear pretty soon.

I had hoped that I'd be able to hold on to Prem shares for years to come and to benefit from the sp rising to 5-10p in a few years' time. My money is now on a bid from either Canmax or other interested parties... 2p.

Raaydaar - it is an absolute mess and will cost us dearly but I wouldn't be surprised if GR has a number of parties saying to him that they'll take the 4 billion shares... hopefully, at a price much higher than it is just now. GR's difficulty is that anyone coming on board will not want him as the CEO... something good might come out of this after all!

Well, my therapist says I should look for the good in all situations... GR did the right thing in calling the AGM and looking for agreement to the additional headroom. If he had not done this then it could've been curtains for Prem. The FM and GR's rejection of the Canmax deal is good for shareholders - for once, he's putting our interests first. GR is willing to listen to other offers... very good for shareholders.

Watcher36 - you're right to highlight the impending share issue... anyone buying in now is clearly forgetting that GR will need a whole wad of cash. He'll get the 4 billion headroom and issue shares right away plus I think he'll look for additional headroom.

It's a sorry mess - who is going to want Zulu if there is still so much doubt about whether the plant works and whether the grade is going to be good enough!

Whatever was in those bags clearly wasn't worth selling... that is extremely worrying!

Acker - wouldn't buy yet. This has got further to drop IMHO.

GR is going to need a much higher increased headroom now, sufficient to raise enough to pay Canmax off... this is not good... the sp is going to fall off a cliff!

Well, for me, it could not read worse than it does and it will be at least 4 months before things are fixed... perhaps, read as the end of the year!

ASI - yes, the news feed needs to be regular to avoid the dreaded aim drift. I had been anticipating some solid news before the end of the month but I'm not so sure now after yesterday's mention of sample analysis by the middle of q3. That seems a long way from confirming that the process is scalable and looks like that drove the drop yesterday.

Asi, I appreciate your observation. A different way to look at this is that (transformational?) news is expected soon (possibly very soon) and could drop anytime... so there is anticipation building. One might expect the sp to increase as that anticipation/expectation builds... not always the case because some will take an alternative view that the news won't be as good as others expect and some will take fright and sell because the news hasn't dropped within their timeframe expectations. If the sentiment is overwhelmingly positive then the sp should increase.

That will be repeated at different stages of the development. In between each piece of news dropping, the sp will meander. The hope is that the general trajectory is upwards but it is a rollercoaster and either patience is required or you have to be pretty good at trading. Having patience is my preferred approach.

With Clon, I'd say that anticipation is building and sentiment is improving... news should drop very soon but patience is still required!

Anyway, I'm late to what has been happening today. Either AP and the lenders expect that the diamond issue is going to be resolved in the next 9 days or there's going to be a share issue. Any clues to which way this is going to go?

Here's the stupidity of someone who comes on a board where the majority of folk are investors and he/she insults others and then thinks that he/she has got the credibility with said shareholders to recommend another share... what a plonker!

Pauly80 - I think we're all excited about the potential here. CLON certainly has a chequered past but there are examples of companies on AIM who eventually come good (e.g. Prem). Whether by design or by chance, they're in the right place at the right time... and, really importantly, it's not all dependent on them. Their JV partners seem to be a very solid outfit.

Anticipation of good news is building.

Absolutely, tradedesk. There appears to be a lot of confidence in the process and that it is scalable... both from within the JV and from other parties. Can't believe that we are where we are with almost an open door to Bolivia with a technology that is revolutionary.

As with all AIM companies, though, communication isn't usually a priority but we should be getting something very soon!
