RE: Suspension28 Jun 2023 08:35
It would clearly be a deliberate ploy for GR to delay the accounts and suspend the shares... whether he would get away with it or not is another question.
The FM has bought GR time to get the plant fixed and a deal done so the suspension of shares would have another purpose. For me, I think that there was pretty strong indicators that Canmax suppressed the sp in the run up to the original deal. Are Canmax doing that again? If so, a suspension would prevent the suppression and once released from the suspension, the sp would rocket. Why would Canmax suppress the sp at this juncture... because they want to do a deal.
So... I think a suspension would be excellent news for holders.
No matter the speculation about what is going on, it is very clear to me that Canmax are not going to walk away. When one looks at the terms that GR rejected, you could be excused for thinking that Canmax could have been way more severe in trying to extract more from PREM... they want to do a deal but they need some give from GR to save face. Either they will do a deal this week or they will make a bid.
Again, whatever you think of GR, he is defending our position extremely well!
BTW, there are some reports that Stark are ahead of target in getting the issues with the plant fixed!
