I agree, Acker... been contemplating too whether there might be any interaction with the oil sector The OPEC deal seems to have made oilers a lot less attractive... there's a lot of money looking for a new home and a natural place might be our very own sector.

It's been a long road to this point and unnecessarily uncomfortable, Snowking, but I think we're just about to be rewarded... and whilst we've got some anticipation about these first results, I reckon that the newsflow will be good for the rest of the year. I agree, potentially, we not only could have one of the biggest deposits in the world but we could also have some of the very highest quality.
Very much hoping that GR can keep his focus on Zulu!

Busy 1st hour of trading!?!

Have to say that I'm really looking forward to the 1st drilling results... could come this week! The big question is what is in the ground!

Tedoby posted a great piece on this - 3-4 years sounds about right but I reckon that we could bag 5-10 times this year if progress is good and the drilling results are positive.
The beauty of where we're at is that the demand for lithium will only accelerate - big shocks in North America and Europe with extreme weather this week due to climate change and that will accelerate affluent folk to change to EV much quicker... just as we're telling the world that we've got some of the best lithium available in the world and we've got lots of it!

Shiny - I've always been optimistic about the assets. Zulu is the reason I first invested 4 years ago. It's been a desperate tale since including the criminal use of funds to buy more Circum when those funds had been raised for the Zulu DFS. Now that the drilling has started, for me, it seems that straightforward progress will see the sp motor.

I am of the view that we should retain as much of Zulu as we can - that would include avoiding any dilution to buy any other assets whatsoever and to progress right through to production. There is potential for holdings of £10k to be worth over a million or more... might sound outlandish but, if the assets are there, we'll be flying!

Shareholder19 - I agree to a certain extent that it's not really a big deal. GR typically makes a mess of comms but I'm taking the recent announcements as a positive change - previously we were getting no info (probably because nothing (good) was happening). We've had more information from GR in the last few weeks than in the previous year... and there is more to come in the next few weeks too.
For me, it signals that he's going to keep us more up to date with progress at Zulu... my expectation is that the vast majority will be good or very good news. There are still some outstanding questions and, perhaps, further dilution (depending on how the future is going to be financed) but I fully expect the news flow to generate momentum in the sp.
Yes - the DFS should have happened 4 years ago but it's happening now !

johnnypc - Acker has been completely upfront about his approach and I have loads of sympathy with his view.

I've taken the view though that at some stage, the positive news flow on Zulu will outweigh the negatives (which are significant - the main one being GR and his record of non-delivery). I think we're at that point and we should see real progress from here - GR isn't actually drilling the holes so his interference is limited. That doesn't mean that I'll stop calling for GR to step aside or to think that it's all plain sailing from here!

The news yesterday along with the encouraging sight of some intersections signals for me the start of the flow of very positive news and the sp rising... I added again just before close.

The questions now are how quickly will the sp rise and how high.

johnnypc - the EPO attracted loads of new investors and traders... all of them with their own expectations. GR is a major liability and drag on the sp and will continue to be. At some stage, he will (need to) step aside though.

Also, when volumes are low, the sp drifts - there's no mad rush to sell so I'm relaxed just now.

johnnypc - I'd put it down to what I call the PREM drift... expectations are raised and then it appears nothing happens or doesn't happen quickly enough. This points to GR and his track record. The last 4 months is a typical example.

People sell for all sorts of reasons (many of which have nothing to do with the company invested in) but I think many will have bought in over the last 4 months and have not seen the progress that they expected. My own view this time round is that we should hear news soon... drilling has started and GR has the facility to run tests on site so the turnaround is way, way quicker than sending samples off to Germany or wherever. There are also rumours that there are changes at the top!

I'm not known for ramping PREM... quite the opposite in fact... and my views on GR haven't changed (he needs to step aside)... but, for once, I believe there is news at any moment... I've added in the last couple of weeks... something I haven't done for a long, long time! DYOR!

Might drift until next piece of positive news - my understanding is that we'll hear something very soon.

The Prospect info is current but it's not clear about the Premier info - it looks similar to what has been reported before... is it simply a re-statement of previous results or is it new results that are the same as previous results?

Initial drilling results given!

Something I've been pondering... the sp movement has been somewhat volatile to say the least and I've been considering when or what piece of news will trigger the sp to rocket and then have a more constant upward trend. I think there's potentially two pieces of news... the first is if we get positive results from the initial drilling that is going on now and the second is some news about how PREM/Zulu will be managed/structured going forward (we certainly won't need to wait until the DFS is delivered). Either or both will see a major re-rating.
My understanding is that news is imminent... for once, I'd say that I wouldn't want to be on the sidelines and for those who follow these things, I've added to my holding over the last couple of weeks.

Snowking - that's my understanding too. I think "imminent news" for once would be an accurate term for GR to use.
