You get bigger spreads on AIM because of the lack of liquidity in the market,,when you phone the broker,he can help you with this,,The spreads on the FT100 are small because you havnt got the liquidity problem,,Thats why if you try to sell 20K of this you cant,,but you can sell 200K of BP in a heartbeat

Its horses for courses,,its different over here,,they charge you for using the phone,,but i save that and more on the price,,,I do the FTSE100 online,,,Years ago i used to have to write to a broker to make a trade and got back a share certificate as big as a front door mat!!

never owned POG,,but admired it,,I hold physical gold,,in the past ive owned Randgold(i made money) and Avesoro(which i lost on )Avesoro taught me a lesson,keep away from SMALL gold miners in doggy places,,This is 5x the size of Avesoro so you should be ok,,every investor should hold 10% in Gold,,especially now,,with so much dept in the system
