well how do you explain it then ? The SP was loitering around .50 for quite a while a year ago, the russian lady came along and increased her holding to 7% - we then slowly dropped to about .20 in June - along came the 11/1 consolidation and ever since then we have gone backwards. The current SP is about .10 in old money and all we have ever seen are great RNS. We haven't had an update in holdings RNS so all the original investors pre consolidation haven't sold out (maybe I'm wrong) We have increased our holding in GIS, GIS as a company is growing at a rapid rate. we made a Net profit of £500K .. in the 1st quarter,its like there is nothing this company can do wrong !! but yet the SP keeps dropping... I am a holder of OCT with an average of about .35 in old money and I want to see the SP do well, but this doesn't seem right.. It's as though the directors are syphoning off the profits and therefore the SP has no value.. I know thats a bold statement but it just doesn't make any sense the SP can be here.. It would be great to know what other investors think.

agreed, something doesn't seem right here ? seems like the company is being run into the ground ... Am I missing something but the SP doesn't seem to be reflecting the companys' value

read August 4th RNS... there was a trading agreement, Aug 18 they are saying this is the only thing in the pipeline.. but hey this is the MAC forum, I said yesterday everything I had to say in the forum about MAC and what I thought was going to happen to the SP.. Not going to clog up anymore space on here...

The Company is otherwise unaware of any reasons for its recent share price movement. but its says the word otherwise - I read the OTHERWISE bit as meaning they are confirming the only news in the pipeline is the deal with COMESA and nothing else.. not exactly saying there is no deal done

The Company confirms that, as indicated in its recent announcement dated 4 August 2015, it is negotiating with third parties to secure sale orders pursuant to the trading MOU with the Common market for Eastern and Southern Africa and the Mask Africa Crowd Farm Fund Limited (the "Trading MOU"). A few days later it commented on the daily mail article and said it was false ? Correct me if I'm wrong but where does it say no reason for the increase ?

The reason I sold is : what news are you waiting for, the positive priced in news - unless there is something extra ?? the reason the SP is up 4-500% is because the market expects the news/meeting tonight to be positive... its priced in... If the News is bad this will tank.... I bgt at 5.90 and sold at 8.20 on friday - I made some money- I could have made more .. If this dips I will buy back in.. Good luck everyone.. the MA50 is around 235i lvl so I expect a bit of support there. maybe a small correct back to 265ish from here

i'm guessing they will have liability insurance against this kinda stuff, however someone will have to payout based on her future potential earnings, so could be up to and over £1mil .it must be horrible for the people involved.

Profits down but Divi up Net revenue up but EPS down. A bit of a mixed bag, I don't think the market will like it too much but we have a new CEO so I would say the future can and will be brighter

Hi Fatlad, Let me try and explain something. If you want to sell something you can do it in 2 ways. You can 'give the bid' or you can 'go on the offer' and wait for someone to buy from you. The reserve is the same for buying something, pay the ask or wait on the bid. So If you want to sell E.g 2mil shares, you can sit on the offer, every time some ones buys them from you they will register as a buy trade. If you then give the bid and push the SP lower, that will register as a sell.You may sit on the offer 1p lower and again people buy shares from you, all registering as buys. So it seems to me with the information you have someone is lowering the ask price. People are buying the shares but the seller is lowering the ask not necessarily giving the bid. I hope that makes sense...

If I am reading the RNS's correctly . Investec sold about 6mil yesterday and Hendersons bought them ???!?!? IMO- this should fly up tomorrow as Henderson have been a massive seller for the last 9 months or so all the way from 22p down to here.. if they are turning their position, it should stay Bid.. thoughts anyone?
