there is a conversation where there is a screen shot of EDM's power project pipeline I assume from the EDM 10 Year Strategy paper.

Within the table, there is a project identified as Tete, a coal project at 300MW, with a $300m investment. Construction start date 2019 and construction end date 2023.

This will not come as any surprise to the researched on this BB. The timings match ours perfectly and we are the only one in the Tete area...

However, if you take time to look further down the table, what pops up.......?

Only another project identified as Tete, and surprise suprise, its a coal project at 300MW, with a $300m investment. Construction start date 2023 and construction end date 2026 i.e. starts as soon as the first one finishes.

I suspect if the table continued after 2026, several other coal projects in Tete, at 300MW, with the same investment and a 3 year construction period would pop up to the tune of a total of, oh, lets say........1800MW.

Now, who on earth could be involved in that?

This is ON, doubly ON, trebly ON, quadruply ON, quintupley ON and sextupley ON!

Taken direct from the RNS...

"Updated timetable for key milestones including the power tariff sign off, Power Purchase Agreement ("PPA") negotiations, Financial Close ("FC") and the date of first power on the grid expected to be agreed during the Workshop."

I am not saying they will be signed off during August, but RNS is indicating that they will be agreed, including a date for first power to the grid. If they are looking at 2023 for first power to the grid, they will have to tie the rest up pretty quickly in my opinion.

This sp will be in the £'s in a few years.

It seems to me that ironically the project has moved much further forward... Tarrif agreement expected in August AND next steps and dates to be agreed for Financial Close and Commissioning. Part of the countries 10 year plan. This is most definatley ON. It's getting built, no doubt about it!

On the next RNS, CF73. It's as simple as that. And when it comes...BOOM! The question is, to sell or not to sell? This could be a superb long term investment.

From 8 mins 30 secs to what Hanno says regarding the stakes (plural) GE and CMEC are looking to take... They (both GE and CMEC) are looking to take "majority" stakes. Given that the new technologies have enabled a reduced tarrif and the VAT being abolished by EDM themselves, I suspect our overall reduced tariff will be accepted. Everyone wants this to happen IMO.

Guesstimates on JDA seem ro range between 25p and 80p dependent on the deal. I suspect a spike to 50p and then settle at about 40p. But the devil will be in the detail. My estimate is based on NCCL retaining 20%

Listen to recent podcasts... From memory Hanno says the project is worth between $200m and $300m per year to NCCL. Think big, think very big!

Soon to be a thing of the past. There will be plenty of selling on the way up. I won't be selling a bean until 40p+, which I expect in short order!
