Low daily volumes, just means weak hands who bought in recently are loosing cash by selling and algos are playing the range.

The fact that we have very solid support at 295, that has been very well battle tested, means we have a consolidated base. This is mostly made up of pi's who have been in it for the long run, pi's who came in on the drop, not forgetting directors and investment houses who already have a very good idea of the results.

The speculators will be here soon, never fear.

@HereKittyKitty because the nearer we get to the 30th, the less a chance of a big gap down and more a chance of a big gap up on result. That is enough to bring in small and big money alike of the next couple of weeks.

My lesson this week is patience, build it and they will come. We have seen constant support at 295, the only way we are breaking below that is terrible news.

Emailed investor relations as to whether there would be an update before 30th, got an immediate response that we would get results on 30th. Emailed again and asked whether we get an update to forecast and got nothing.

Either means they thought I was such an annoying idiot that they couldn't be bothered to respond, or RNS incoming. You decide.

Same BS as we have seen previously in a different way. As there is reduced volume, it is easier to F around with the price.

Moral of the story, hold the line!

@Ian.B it is 85% algo for BWNG and actually 45% for BOO & 86% for ASOS, as was counting opening trade volume by mistake.

Just had a quick look at Algo trade volume today for BOO and compared it to ASOS.

BOO was 34% and ASOS was 64% of volume, anyone got any clue why?

@arudge also, just to mention it. The continuous lesson is, patience is key. If I had waited until before the Nasdaq closed or even this morning, I would have been a happy bunny.

@arudge cheers, logged into my pension account and that was a lot more depressing :-) Thankfully that is near enough DCAing, so don't need to worry about it for a fair few years.

Luckily I treat my share dealing accounts as a business, as long as the year total is significantly beating the S&P500, I am happy. The second it does not, it's a sign to just stick my money into ETF's and forget about it.

Don't think my wife would much appreciate the lambo with 2 kids. Seriously tempted to upgrade the disco sport to a model x, but probs better to keep any potential boohoo gains in the market.

@maxage was going to say the same thing, just looks like the day trading strategy has changed, but is the same thing.

Feels a bit like the self doubt stage before going out to play the big match. Just need to remember that you have done the research, stuck the course and are now in the final phases.

I can understand the reasoning why they may not want do an RNS before the audit results, so game on.

@wyndrum unfortunately sometimes the gamble doesn't pay off.

Am still way up for the year, in a large part down to TSLA and SMT, with BOO so far giving me 12%, so can't complain much.

Found this interesting as Boohoo are one of the biggest users of Klarna. A connection on LinkedIn who works there just posted this, last line is the important one for us.

@wyndrum no I didn't have a very good day thanks to the assumption of a return to normal.

Lost a good chunk on tesla, came out neutral on lvmh and cartier puts and the rest is history.

Bought another 10k of BOO, but has been a less than fantastic day. Seems there is starting to be a shift to finance and dividend stocks, which is not the world I know.
