Just to add, on the last bump I could only get my hands on 5m at a price well over the bid.
@max111 have been testing it all day and have been able to buy 10m stock every time I tried.
To be fair, he has been a director for 14 years, probably done his time.
@max111 that is one of the reasons why they have brokers, to keep them informed of the effect of their actions on the market.
Indeed, I need to see some very urgent reason why they needed to do it right now and not wait until January.
Am waiting with bated breath to see his imaginary 3m shares land on the trade list.
@Disruptor1664 indeed, I wrote the below 3 days ago. The trust issue is what gets me, if I can't trust what is coming out of the company, I can't invest.
"I would honestly not be too sad if there was a placing, not that there is going to be one, as Bill has said several times how Alien is fully funded. Let's say worst case scenario, my shares are diluted by 5%. This share can do 5% in a day without running a sweat. End result would be a better funded company that would be in an even better place to increase my wealth."
Last from me as well on the subject. I like to play detective with the stocks I hold, I like to gather information and derive outcomes.
If I can't trust the information that I am getting, then I can't trust the derived outcomes. The risk profile for this has therefore shot way up for me. I need to figure out now whether that is intolerable for me in the long term.
I am entrusting Bill with a lot of money, if I can't trust him, then he isn't going to have my money. Simple as that.
I fully understand that they had to sell at a discount, dropping those shares into the market would have been even more catastrophic.
The timing is what really fecks me off, they could have got more money from a better placing price had they just waited a month. Considering I thought Bill was all about the shareholders, today he literally pulled my pants down and did me. This just feels like letting Turner popes mates in and not giving a sod about your investor base.
Personally I am just disappointed, as this is the first bad business decision that I have seen from Alien.
Had they waited a month, they could have got double the money they did from the same number of placi g shares, especially considering the constant communication was that they were fine into spring 2021. Bill has lost a good chunk of my faith today.
They have literally ahot the momentum of the share in the foot today and pushed us back into the descending triangle.
Every Monday at the moment seems to be Vaccine news day.
I really wanted that third candle, fed up looking at the naughty corner.
Hopefully L2 can carry on picking up and it can find its way out....
Looks like we are firmly back in the triangle of doom. I don't honestly think Alien could have timed the news today worse.

Availability of shares not ratio of shares. Big chunk of sells with not many buyers at one time pushes the price down.
Looks like MM's have a bit more stock availability than the end of last week, but hopefully that gets picked up over afternoon.
No big raft of sells, which is the important thing. Diverse holder base that seems to believe in the reasons for the placing seems to be what it is telling me.
Well we are trading on sod all volume and very few sells today, so we are back in to anything can happen in the afternoon territory!
The only case I can find of it happening was a breach of rules,
1020.3 - 1400 - 1400.4 - 1400.5 - 5000 - 1060

@MKumar from my understanding they can't be sold on order book until they have entered the register on the 30th. I would be highly surprised if any of them sold in the near term.
The order book being flooded with millions more shares would have been a bloody nightmare.
More institutional investors is only a good thing, as they generally have a much longer world view and stickier hands.
Indeed, as mentioned earlier, if PI's were included, the price would have gone to under 1!
