Oops Dasut- our posts crossed lol- I agree with your post having just read it and to be clear my disagreement was with Dave and Badgernator's posts- (in a nice way :-))

Don't agree- pretty much all miners have risen recently along with the major indices and gold price caused by topping and dropping of inflation- this SP has risen due to the same reasons as the rest.
Sometimes RNS doesn't get the rise you think immediately for a number of reasons- one here could be is that it is a prediction and not yet a fact- for sure, once they become fact in ensuing RNS results, the rise will for sure change- of course, not saying we won't get further rises today etc. I'm holding for the reasons I have been banging on about for months- this RNS helps and doesn't hinder that direction

Well, I hate self promotion lol, but I have been predicting too and drop of inflation and how positive it would be and look today after data release- S&P up 5.53%, nasdaq up 7.35%, dow up 3.69%, gold up massively, barrick gold and others in usa up. This is why I don't follow charts but data points... and only follow RNS from cey rather than lots of detail on mines etc which never amounts to sp changes...

It is because the fed will become more dovish, less interest rate hikes - so good for gold. Drivers are different dependant upon combining many factors...

BOOM! Check your stats- like I've been saying and boring you all for months, top and drop...

Yep Razor- FTSE futures up and gold too based on the 16:30UK time yesterday.
Interesting BofE statements yesterday, they mucked up on rates for sure, but at least raised yesterday- lesser raise would have kicked the markets down (well the UK ones I mean).

Been patiently waiting for that for some time!

I'm hoping we'll get a green day in the western markets or at least a far less "drop" than last night. and a rise tomorrow- hopefully pointing towards my earlier comment at 11:30.

50% chance Tony- would expect more movement this pm when USA opens - at the moments futures over there are down so not good here. However, as happens each month at some point sell off is seen as overdone- eg yesterdays sell off, will this sell off drop higher than before as we're closer all together the time to being at the end of the tightening?
