Inflation- a FED pause, then prediction to drop.

Coupled with an above expectation RNS at next Q.

A rise, inflation dropping (with some costs actually deflating).

As for the drop in AISC due to end of waste clear excess (obvs there will always be some continual clear, but the excess)

it's just a question of when. I trade so in and out a lot- so for me am more interested in continued volatility- but with a continual upside, it's far easier!

What you could do is look at their latest online presentation on their website- it will show their longterm view. Whether you think what they think will happen, will happen, is up to you to decide on the SP impact.

Best not to dwell on the past- it's gone.

It's interesting, that no one mentions the fact that the SP here hit ~220 in July2020 on the COVID recovery (well after the wall issue) and boost in gold risen by uncertainty (and the amount of "experts" hysterical gold predictions).

Horgan has been in his position for over 2 years now and SP was ~102 when he was officially appointed.

He, and the current board are responsible for the SP- no one else (of course there are external factors, there is in every business, but ultimately it's in his remit).

Equally, when it is above their expectation, some still sell to bank profits and some don't so sometimes there's a dip and sometimes there isn't- hence my point as the cliche is pointless as can be interpreted and used in multiple ways- hence we are arguing about it :-), proof of this.

No Sotolo- that is a negative - not so much of a gain as planned = a loss (eg loss to expectation).

Pointless Sotolo- the rumours are positive, the news is negative = a loss. The rumour is negative and the news is positive = gain. Facts dictate SP, not cliches or charts.

Pull back overdone now and previous data earlier was key

Data released at around 15:00 was cause - data causes changes not charts :-)

Gap may be closed Tony so why is gold falling further?

13:30 data looks good so far... looks like pause is more likely after this... although some revisions and commentary yet to come

This is a key NFP- as it's been a while since the FED met and this is the last NFP prior to their next decision point. So far, since they last met, the key data points have been positive in terms of displaying tightening working (and hopefully this has WORKED (past tense)), so pause remains most likely.

Powell has always maintained the data led stance- so need a meet or miss today.

Need some continued good good news on inflation- fed pause is now more likely, let’s hope impacting data delivered continues up to the decision- inflation’s been stickier than a super sticky thing! The last thing we need now is higher rates impact lessening- the increasing expected impact needs to continue.

Shanta has been a shocker this quarter Tony despite the recent RNS, still slipped after that- follow it, but never got comfortable in trading it- just this one for now for me. I used to trade HGM and Randgold until they both got bought out.

I always follow the data around delivery times- gold can up or down, so I prefer to do it this way. Gold will go up if the drivers are there for it and down if they go against it- I've developed my own drivers for it (economic) and work on the basis on more right than wrong, and disciplined on the S/L and mostly on the T/P limits!

Been a good few days trading- this is a great trading stock as always.

To state the obvious for most (but not all), if you want your 2 cents, you need to be holding by close of play today.

And the SP open at the close price, minus the 2 cents tomorrow @08:00 for normal traders.

Holding well and Asia followed rise from USA yesterday as per norm. FTSE futures up again, on top of recent large gains.
