Big prob remain inflation. Gold up only a bit ~50usd year to date, inflation up way, way more and still much higher. As I love mentioned before l- I don’t know what proportion of their costs will actually deflate eg fuel or just inflate less which is the massive issue unless gold gets a big move on

It's tough to be optimistic here- when you get the constant drip drip drop... the FED don't meet for a while to spice things up either.

Not convinced on recession at all- heard it all for the past few years and again at the start of 2023. Heard a &p will drop the below 3,300 and yet here we are with at near 4,500 and all data showing strong economy despite tightening which will end soon or has ended. In any case, recession is bad for cey too.

Gold can go up or it can down, charts have a 50% chance of being right- I prefer economic info and data

More likely the moderate rise eg about 1dollar only since before data released at 13:30, to b the combination of all the data which analysts still digesting but I hope the general consensus remains on the disinflation path. At USA open will most likely show this, usual markers hopefully

Oh- I read is as per expectation with the a few nuances in the detail. Majority so far seem to be on the disinflation side, so good- but time will tell.

Mr T- most days here have zero to do with anything other then economic data- today is all about the US data -

If usa cpi and surrounding data is lower than expected this thurs, gold and cey will rise (and the reverse of course is higher) Fed has simply followed and acted in the same info- the data leads, not the fed as the fed just follow the data and their lives are predicted. Sometimes, however, the fed commentary provides more nuance and this moves things when they speak, especially Powell

Inflation has pushed up the aisc. Inflation CPI is the key as the FED simply follow it and they stated as much

CEO flat in last 12months and approx 4% given back in divis, so past 12months is an approx 4% gain on this stock.

As I said, it's irrelevant who are the top shareholders UNLESS you value their views, when, of course it is. I would be happier with higher risk ones- you have to question their capability if they were holding during the wall issue.

Absolutely correct Goldgnome :-). There’s of course always a list of the highest holders and they frequently alter marginally % wise- it all depends on how much you value the view and what the drive is behind the current high list - I would welcome new higher risk holders holding sway, but that’s just my view

What people wrote here make zero difference to the SP. Economic data which impacts all shares and economic data that impacts gold along with RNS from CEY are the SP drivers

Mr T gave an AISC cost reduction approx amount, I can't recall exactly what is was, but am sure he can provide again. It didn't seem unreasonable to me and would be good if this happens- equally if you look at latest forecast presentations for future AISC in their website, this could provide a clue too.
