I’ve been playing that scenario through my head, what if it’s a “meh” update, we’re sort of on track but nothing exciting, how would the SP react?

With the rise of armchair shorters, I could see it being a bit of a blow to them if it looked like it was going to stabilise somewhat.

One things for sure, it will be picked apart with different conclusions reached depending on the individual stance.

Could be touching 400 or 200 tomorrow imo, all I know is I’ll be touching cloth in anticipation

Am I missing something, two directors bought significant amounts at £4.18, the guidance is generally positive, why are people predicting an apocalypse? I’m confused as to why directors would purchase such volumes at that price if they had any sense of impending doom… but it could just be me

Drop from 330’s to 325 - people suggesting the business is going bust

UK markets are spiking, share with a high beta therefore exaggerated spike, that’s my guess

Anyway, feel settled with this one for a longer term hole, happy to ride out some volatility and see where it’s at in 12 months.

Covid was an anomaly, personally I take it into consideration too much, we are facing far different challenges.

Thought there would be a drop today with the news coming out and expectation of higher interest rates, and also looks like some chunky sales dragging down.

Personally considering further investment rather than selling, but everyone has their reasons/stance.

IR have been responding to people, it is important to remember they are in a closed period and are limited in what they can respond with. It’s also important to remember they will be receiving hordes of messages.

People are clearly fearful, this can contribute to a sudden or sustained SP drop.

Where has the myth that MA buying is a bad sign come from? Fraser group host some successful brands, and in my opinion, getting hold of one of the biggest online names in the UK at a fraction of it’s former price could be hugely attractive for a group that own an array of clothing brands.

A benefit imo of the price dropping is those shorting cash in and head off. Sitting watching the daily price can mess with your head

Close enough to the most pessimistic analyst rating for me. Struggle personally to understand why this has dropped this far. Am I missing something?

Looks like you’ve just opened up a short position and have set up an account to try and drive the price down… considering how many short positions have been closed, “late to the party” springs to mind.

That’s quite an increase from £3.50

I don’t class myself as short or long term really, just set a price target and wait unless I see better value elsewhere.

Saw TRN drop to the 240’s the other day so had a very quick spell there.

Been hovering around Asos for a while, seen it was heavily shorted, but seeing how that figure has slashed recently prompted me to buy in. Definitely a lot more factors at play than the likes of TRN, though.

What price target do you have in mind?

I usually aim for little increases and move on, but feel this stock, if it gets moving, will move big time.. but in either direction

I’ve only just entered myself; in my opinion, it’s a strong brand that I believe will either attract the right attention or work its way out of the mess it’s in.

Could be wrong, could be stung, but it’s certainly looked an attractive entry in my mind.

During situations like this, I prefer to just sit back and try not to concern myself with the daily fluctuations. I have a price target in my mind, but I have no doubt there’ll be wild swings in the mean time as the markets are incredibly nervy.
