Do you still pay tax on the dividends that are paid into an isa and do dividend payments count as part of your £20k allowance as if it’s yes to those I will stick with my trade account.

It’s more of a savings plan for me as I pay £250 a month into it and have been for years but raided it all last year to buy shares. I may cancel it and put the money into my pension fund instead that way I can open a one to trade with?

Did the online service but didn’t complete it as it says you can’t pay into another stocks and shares isa in the same year and I hold a Halifax stocks and shares isa where they invest a monthly sum for me in five funds so I’m not sure if this is a conflict?

I had a look online and if I set one up with Halifax, since I already have a share dealing account with them it says I can open an account in 10 minutes. In just over a week I have an appointment with a financial advisor to review the direction my private pension is going so I think I will wait until then and ask their advice or maybe just set a proper isa up with them that day?

It may not be worth my time getting one as it will take me years to swap over as most stocks have a lot to rise and I already pay into an isa so my allowance I can move over drops a few thousand.

Only been buying shares a couple of years so even if I opened one now it’s still early. It’s only this year I found out about investment isa for tax free advantages. I can start transferring dividend payments into the isa as time goes by.

If I open an investment ISA can I transfer my entire Halifax trade account over with no problems or am I limited to £20k increments?

I have about £100k in my share account at the minute.

They do ramp a lot but I hope their passion for the stock is true.

I have seen 6.7 a few times on the iPhone app but in my share account if you do a dummy trade it’s always 6.85 which is what it’s been for a while now.

There is a similar story to this in the paper everyday. Someone I know wasn’t exactly an anti Vaxer but he didn’t want the vaccine as he didn’t think he needed it then they had to call an ambulance to get him to hospital as he needed to put on oxygen.

Goingunderground, I think qfi price will make 7-8p long before this makes 13-14p. If qfi makes 7p I’m selling everything I have in them.
Instantexpert, I wouldn’t put money in that share as it’s already had a huge rise over the last year.

I have £600 going into my share account on Tuesday but I’m stuck between two stocks, do I put it in here where it’s very low or do I put it in QFI which has a chance of rising quicker? I already hold shares in both.

I worked at buying at the open 6p level which you sort of bragged about to troajan then selling with a 40% profit and it was about £10k investment. The maths are perfect as 40% added to £10k is £4000 :-)

All directors who work for PSN get shares allocated to them as a percentage of their wage, a construction director would get say 50% of the value of their wage a year in shares as a bonus and the CEO would get 200% of the value of their salary in shares. I’m pretty sure all big companies do the same sort of thing.

Are status quo still alive, Stormzy will be a big crowd puller.

For someone not monitoring a share you would have to take a chance on a £10k punt to make £4K. Big punt to take on a dropping share
