Airline stocks have dropped due to most of them cancelling all flights to Israel until further notice, if the trouble is confined to Palestine and Israel then the stocks should bounce back soon, if it escalates to other countries then there could be significant flight disruption over those coun

All major airlines down over 5.5% and oil up about 4% today so RR not doing too bad considering.

It's hard to say Metom, but I'm more worried about the bond market at min. Things are crazy at the minute.

Nettles, they have a point, you have a tenancy to promote your AIM investments on this board far to often. Why?

Speaking from personal experience here you were know as JTT and changed your user to nettlesthecat after some kind of meltdown or account hack?

Under JTT you posted on this RR board a list of 4 or 5 AIM shares that everyone should get on. Me being a Newby listened to you, and chose two of those AIM shares, one was called Joules and the other was Rmm mining. I put a lot of money in those and they both went bust. Now that's fair enough, my money my loss I can take it, but I still did not learn my lesson, I have also gone into your latest AIM recommendation HE1. God knows what's going on there.

My point is people like me listen to people like you unfortunately, so perhaps if you stop posting your AIM recommendations I can save myself some money - and others. Also stop advertising your blog ffs.

I can relate to that badland, I also find it difficult to let go of these shares. I've no end point at the moment but perhaps late next year I will take some profit.

Even bae systems is down over 8% from a high a few weeks ago. No reasons out there what I can find to justify RR share price drop so I think it's a matter of just waiting this market turbulence out.

Been in over a year, also got missus in @79p a few months ago, she just keeps tutting when she looks at portfolio on mobile.....

Can someone please tell me why I topped up @66? I must have had some kind of mini stroke.

I was under the impression that this autumn there would be a decision made on who would get the SMR contract – not a final selection on which companies are in the running! My bad, I must have read it wrong and also certain people on this BB talking it up with being in the know with a nod and a wink etc – you know who you are.

RR are two years in front of the competition, they have had government funding, funding from other sources, already have proven technology in this field etc and also is a UK company, it has a lot of positives going for it, more than any other company in the running. I cannot see RR not getting a contract here, it might not be for 100% of it but does it really matter? Even part of it will allow RR to sell SMR to other countries with confidence.

Would the government throw RR under a bus? I cant see it IMO.
