It seems like the market have read into General electrics results in the US. The first quarter 2024 guidance has been reduced to double digit revenue.

At first glance this seems to have had an effect on RR sp today.

Berenberg went from hold @£1 to sell. Then upgraded from £1 to £2.40. The EU markets responded before ft100 opened and the price sp dropped, a few hours later it recovered. This broker seems like a chancery and now stands out like a sore thumb.

It seems like anyone and everyone is jumping on this analyst's view.

The article comes across a bit gloomy but actually some of the struggles airlines are facing are in fact beneficial to RR.

This gives us some optimism on the smr programme.

OK Delta are down today but the interesting news is here.

Delta Air Lines closed out the year by doubling its quarterly profit as travel demand, particularly for international trips, helped drive record revenue in 2023.

Let's see how the other airlines do, especially the iternational demand figures, or even china's domestic demand.

I can see RR results being at the very top end of guidance, if not higher, let's see.
