A little hasty with condemnation. Besides, aren't trolls supposed to be negative :) I sold up on April 14th, then bought back in on May 18th. Relevant posts below.

I finally filtered all the trolls rather than waste my time engaging them, so board does seems a lot more constructive now :)

I think he was tired rather than flat. I know a lot of people complain about delays, etc., but trying to pull together a deal for multiples of the current market cap in Africa, in the midst of a pandemic with the recent local problems in Ethiopia as well is going to take a toll on anyone.

The content was extremely good though and timescales very short. No fund raise, looking for board approvals this month and closing in July. That doesn't sound like can kicking - otherwise would be longer timeframe.

Same here. I've had my wobble and got through it without selling. Now I am resigned to letting the share price wander around on low volume in the short term because the long term looks very promising indeed.

So assuming the EG government suddenly revoke a licence on the verge of completion and bring in the Chinese, how do you think that might affect overall Western investment in Ethiopia?

I suspect the Ethiopians are thinking slightly further ahead than you.

A couple of interesting quotes from the interview:

"Raising capital... on terms which involves no issue of shares at today's price. In fact none at prices for the next two or three years"

"While we are pulling that together, we are being financed though to the point of completion with short term advances from long-term supporters of the company who don't want to see us going to the market until the whole thing is wrapped up."

Multiple posters, all with low post counts and who don't normally post on this board, are suddenly popping up in sequence to say they have sold all their shares following a positive RNS. The trolls must be getting desperate if they are dusting off even more duplicate accounts :)

The Harry bonus isn't for finance completion. It is for finance completion and receipt of first £20m. Previous RNS have stated completion after June 30 with first funding received in Q4 2021. So for Harry to get this bonus, he has to get the actual finance completed fairly quickly in order to get the actual money by December.

TBH I don't really care about Harry receiving the bonus. If that makes him more focused on completing the deal soon, that is good for me. Besides, taking 1.5m out a company that will be worth hundreds of millions won't affect the share price and therefore won't affect me either.

Bit of an odd day today. Volume only 2.5m and more bought than sold (1.2m bought in just two trades), yet somehow we are 3.3% down.

This board is a sea of green at the moment with islands of actual shareholders :)

I think Smelly, Fever, etc. and their duplicate accounts have succeeded in their objective of making this board completely unreadable. It seems like any form of positive RNS just brings out hordes of de-rampers. Wonder what they are all so worried about :)

Hasn't appeared on L2 yet but always takes a while for large buys to appear. Volume showing so far is 2.2m, including a couple of 600k shares buys this afternoon.

Of course buys > sells = falling share price :)

I know I don't hold as many as some on here, but I would be happy to chip in my 0.3% to that effort. Even if we didn't propose a resolution, we could probably form a group that would be enough for a more formal ongoing contact with the company. I know there is a similar group in BZT.

Seems like a really good time to have a huge copper discovery in a safe jurisdiction :)

I've haven't been checking L2 for a few days (to make it easier to ignore recent share price meanderings), but I had a look this afternoon. A buy of 750k shares went through at 17:08. Quite a few 100k and 200k buys this afternoon as well. Someone is loading up.

It is really impressive how the chart predicts the results of assay delays, communication issues, IP surveys, director purchases, two separate Africa updates, a placing and the recent misunderstood assay results, all of which happened since March.

Diamond drilling is is better for accurate results and drilling at depth and extracts a solid core.. Reverse circulation is drilling is fine for bulk samples at shallower depths

The large drop was never justified by the selling volume. It may sound like a conspiracy theory, but I wonder how much the drop was exaggerated since the IP survey to shake loose weaker hands and free up those shares. Mates rates :)

Some people continue to de-ramp stocks they have sold, instead of just moving on. Most of the time they are just trying to convince themselves that selling was the right decision. After all, if the stock suddenly goes back up they will regret selling so its better to persuade other people to sell and stop that happening :)

Personally, I am past the wobble stage and didn't sell. I've reconciled myself to watching the share price go down as far as it needs to, because I have seen and heard enough to be convinced that next 6-12 months is going to be very interesting indeed.

I have to admit I was initially disappointed with the grades and intersections with hole 1 results as the context. However, when I saw the diagram, it does make a huge difference to understanding that context. I went from disappointed to 'good enough' :)

The results also tie in with the IP survey. 2+3 seem to have gone down the left hand edge of the narrow end of the porphyry to the north, missing the main part of the magnetic anomaly. If they were drilling a few hundred metres north-east it might have looked very different. The phase 2 drilling will have much better guidance and the potential for shallow high grades from the IP looks very promising.

So short-term annoying on the share price but just a case of holding for a few months now until the higher JORC is proved up. Looks like 10-20 billion dollars in the ground, currently valued at about 0.2% (based on market cap)
