Please could you highlight those porphyries in good jurisdictions with a 1.5% grade? I won't hold my breath. Or maybe look up the road to Cadia-Ridgeway and see what grade they are mining.

As with Iceberg, more than half the mining stocks on my watchlist are down by more than 5% and only five out of thirty-eight are green. However, unlike most resource stocks. we have plenty of news ahead in the next few weeks.

Could be a little tree shake to free up shares before good news, although quite a lot of AIM mining stocks significantly down today.

Bottom line is that the 6% drop was on 10m volume, or less than 0.5% of shares in issue.

The average for the 5 days last week was 6.4m volume per day and 4% rise per day

Today is a drop of 6% on 1.3m volume. MMs love to push this down on minimal volume :)

Closing price of 4.2p was based on an uncrossed trade of 20k shares on the Bid. True mid-point was 4.25. Volume was about half that of recent days.

After the rises of the last few days, I think only a minor re-trace is pretty encouraging.

The next few months should be fairly constant news. At least every couple of weeks and maybe more often. It will certainly be more news that the vast majority of resource stocks.

The share price may meander between updates but unless we end up with duster drill results, then the general direction should be upwards over time. Best to ignore the day to day share price (advice I don't take myself :) ) and focus on the longer-term value.

The current JORC would increase to perhaps 0.5mt contained copper with a 0.2% cut-off (using the 2011 study as a guide), so if the other side of the 'saddle' is similar (as per the RNS) then that might get you to 1mt for an open pit - which is still very large

For 2mt, we have the deeper sections identified in phase 1, plus Footrot, plus anything in between - plus maybe the deeper section of the other part of the saddle. In fact Racecourse is 500km2, so plenty of areas to explore.

Cantor up to its usual tricks this morning. Despite Buys > Sells on low volume, Cantor has dropped the Ask to 4.3p. The other six MMs are on:

4.5p, 4.6p, 4.6p, 4.65p, 4.7p, 4.7p

Last 3 buys (only about 150k total) went through on the Ask at 4.3p, but I can't see there being a lot of shares available at that level, which might slow the rise down a little. Lets see how long Cantor holds the line.

The sudden drop to 3.9p is caused by a trade of 35 shares (£1.36) :)

There is one MM (Cantor) holding the ask at 4.2p despite buying pressure all afternoon (volume now 6m). The rest are between 4.3p and 4.5p.

Footrot is fine for marketing - its a memorable name :)
