When I ask for a price to buy/sell 1 share I get;
Buy 8.08
Sell 8.14

Prices are back to front and in no way reflect the headline figures quoted - very weird to me.

In theory it already has, was about 10.5p when announced and fell to 6p but slowly climbing back.
Its hoped that the people who acquired the mates rates will be longer term holders.

Are those volume buy/sells reported or actual - there seems to be many buys recorded as sells for some unexplained reason?

Arsenal17 - i was theorising that an American company (Fedex) would politically chose an American engine maker such as Pratt and Whitney or GE. Most planes can accommodate 2 different engine makers and yes I am aware RR have plants in the USA but are not considered American. I'm a RR employee but don't know who are the best customers regarding on wing flying hours. Not being argumentative btw.

mark_rs.........i'd be very surprised if Fedex has RR engines.

Also BA know they will be penalised in the near future if their use of SAF (green) % use of fuel does not increase.

XPB - if Shell was writing off Billions, I suspect investing 10 mill (assuming my theory was correct) would be a drop in Shells ocean especially as they announced they needed to head in a new direction in the future.......its a splash in their R&D budget.

thurgarton - could the placing have been used so Shell & BA acquired a large slice of the company and thats why the price was set at 5p when it seems clear that was too cheap?

Sean, because it has an A after if I would suggest its a balancing trade between 2 accounts rather than a buy/sell by a person but its only a hunch.

If 5p was the real price instead of "mates rates" why is it the pi's are only allowed 3.1% at that rate?

Interestingly I couldn't sell anything live yesterday but its now letting me sell my entire holding for 8.02p live.

spread price now is 8 to 8.5 yet I can buy at 8.14 so because its less than 8.25 (mid price) it will be classed as a sell imo.
