Why are there so many sells going though as "A" today........seems unusual?

Fanciful thinking but someone like Elon Musk will put a giant mirror in space so that the world will never be in complete darkness so we can capture more solar power. Another 20yrs and every major city will also have its own nuclear power plant imo.

We just had our Sodium street lighting replaced with LED and its like the light output has been reduced 70% so yes we will save electric but accidents and crime may well increase because of it.

So it would have been more accurate for the Minister to say "We are supporting 1 company with 2 sites" then?

As part of the competition we are currently supporting two projects to build plants capable of supplying advanced fuels for use in aviation.

Where do you think landfill goes and now the exporting of it is banned and the dangers of burying it are becoming known it makes even more sense to turn it into something useful.

There is evidence over the past 2 weeks that 6p is the new low for this share. Seems to be bouncing back.

C&C - thanks for sharing that. Might explain why we suddenly see spikes in the price and then fall straight back again if a buyer is nibbling at orders higher than current share price. I'm inclined to think you are correct.

YBD - I agree with that sentiment but also don't understand why there can be a huge quoted spread with all buy and sells in the middle quartile of that spread so that buys come through as sells.........really makes it difficult to work things out just by looking at the official volume figures and buy/sell ratios.

I was reading some news on the RR Intranet where I work yesterday and there was an article about carbon neutral flights by 2050. There was a degree of offsetting involved whereby RR would plant forests etc but of the 3 main pillars mentioned in the forward strategy, 1 of the was sustainable aviation fuel so you can officially add RR to your list of endorsees as well.

Sean83 - something I've always wondered as I think your theory is spot on.
If the pipe is say 100 miles long from Humber to Heathrow and VLS have produced a quantity of SAF (that currently is blended to a max of 50%) how do they "sort" on companies fuel out from another? Presumably the pipe will always have liquid in, so how would the customer know which fuel was SAF?
Not really relevant to the conversation but I always wondered?
